Mavs only won the Spurs game since Rondo got traded.... Duncan, Manu, Green, Parker, Kawhi and Splitter all missed that game.
The Rondo trade neither improves their defense nor their offense. They probably weren't winning anything before the trade, but now they're committed to Rondo, which is their biggest problem.
Did the Lakers make the playoffs last year without Kobe? Obviously they are playing on a high right now. A fluke is a fluke.
He's had the same mentality since day 1 in the NBA. It's his way and nothing else. He won't change. The pieces around him need to change (and improve) for the Lakers to be successful.
If you look at Dallas they are not going to stop anybody on the defensive end. Rondo is not the defender he used to be. He has to guard big twos now since Ellis can't check them. The forward combination of Chandler Parsons and Dirk aren't exactly defensive stoppers. That leaves only one good defender in their starting lineup.
LOL, that was hilarious! Bledsoe bludgeoned Dragic and got his triple double. Shades of Harden and Troy Daniels.
I honestly thought once Rondo gets traded to a contender like Houston or Dallas, he would return to his old Boston self like he did against Miami in the 2012 playoffs. Guess I was wrong.
Give it a month and people will be saying "I can't believe people on clutchfans wanted Josh Smith..." Some people play too many video games and are impressed by big names while not doing proper analysis. Those people will never learn.
If the lakers somehow pull out this win against the best team in the league record wise without Kobe it would be comedy gold.
"Lillard said in the postgame that they were shouting "Houston play! Houston play!" But he was just too quick." - quote from Reddit
lalala nailed it. Scored 115 - plenty good enough. Gave up 124 - not good enough Media screamed Tyson Chandler, Tyson Chandler! He only plays one position. Not that they're giving up 124 nightly but that defense ain't gonna cut it.
