Bagwell leads MLB grounding into double plays?

    Man, he sure is in a slump! He grounded into his league-leading 17th double play. Sure don't see the Bagwell from the beginning of the season where he was cracking the ball into the stands.

    Didn't Biggio go a whole year without one of those.

    i think Bagwell needs the allstar break. It will give him a chance to clear his mind and give the shoulder a rest for 3 or 4 days. I think a lot of it has just become mental, as long as he doesn't cork the bat he'll bust out of it.

    i think that was the same year he hit 50 doubles and stole 50 bases...he was one of the best seasons for a leadoff hitter, EVER.
