IF THE ROCKETS COULD GET JERMAINE O'NEAL TO PLAY ALONG WITH YAO, STEVE, MOBLEY AND POSEY IN THE WEST THAT WOULD JUST BE PERFECT.

Now there's a refreshing new idea!

Is this the same guy starting all the O'Neal threads with different names?

Actually, Jermaine O'Neal is visiting both San Antonio and Dallas next week. He could be visiting Houston on the sly, you never know. Of course, he'll probably just re-sign in Indy, but he was pretty disillusioned after the playoffs. No one else on the team stepped up, and they got whooped by the no-depth, no-PG Celtics.

He'll stay in Indy where he can remain "the man".

Yeah ESPN has confirmed that JO is travelling to Texas to meet with both the Spurs and the Mavs. You would think LA and CD would at least attempt to meet with him.

It just pisses me off that J O'Neal would visit Dallas. HELLOOOOO?!?! They have the same cap space that we/LA/SAC have.

Like there's a snow ball's chance in Hades that he'd take a deal starting at $5M. I mean why even give Cuban the publicity? It's just too en vogue to visit Dallas. And don't give me any s&t bs, Indiana isn't going to want Van Exel or all the other crap in Dallas (outside the big 3..please). These players' agents just want to use deep pockets as leverage, and it's all smoke. I hope the other owners see through this nonsense.

I'm cool now, just had to rant a bit.

because he knows cuban would pull off a deal if it makes his team anywhere close to winning the title. he knows cuban wouldnt mind breaking the cap for him.
the only way the teams you mentioned (including dallas) can sign him for is a sign and trade. its not about the $5 mill. mid-level exception. they wouldnt even offer that too him as a joke. now, see he knows that if dallas were to do a sign & trade they would have enough talent to send back to indi in return for him to convince indi. who would we send to indi in return for o'neal? nobody, not even cuttino and a package are worth o'neal for indi. the only thing to get o'neal to houston are steve or yao, and we all know they are untouchables.
