    In your opinion, assuming that Smith signs with Rockets, would DMo, fillers and a pick be enough to get Phoenix interested in trading Dragic to the Rockets?

    If so would it require the NO pick or would Daryl Morey even consider trading the NO Pick along with DMo for Dragic?

    If the Rockets eventually trade DMo before the trade deadline, and providing the team is not hard capped out, would there be any mutual interest in Jermain O'Neal in joining the Rockets?

    I know it's a lot but just interested in your opinion. Thanks for all your contributions to clutch fans!

    I know there is a lot of talk in Dallas about O'Neal, but providing the Rockets trade DMo and filler to Phoenix for Dragic it could open up enough cap room to sign him.

    No it won't. There is no move we are going to make that is going to give us any cap room. Trading filler for Dragic won't open up cap room.

    If we sign Josh Smith we will only have the veteran's minimum to offer anyone else that is a free agent at that point.

    Your right it will not open up cap room. My hands were typing faster than I was thinking. What I was more concerned about was keeping us off of the Hard Cap so we can offer the full vet minimum.

    the depth would already be there, there really isn't any reason to be worried about getting cap room. you're not getting a player better than smith for pennies

    The vet minimum for Okafor or for O'Neil is 1.44 million. If we trade DMo then I think we are going to need additional help in the post. I would take either but I would prefer O'Neil because he has a better offensive post game IMO.

    I would be very shocked if Smith doesn't come.


    Just beware though.. A lot of sources saying they are "confident" they will get him is mostly from the Rockets camp.

    Nba teams can't talk to J Smith until he clears.
