One where they called a Tech on Dwight but it wasnt a tech, it wasnt anything

 

I still remember him taking away a game-tying 3 in Game 2 in 2008 by calling an offensive foul on a Kirilenko flop. Arguably cost them that series given how the next 4 games played out.

 

Not too bothered by this loss... refs with some really questionable calls throughout the game. The travels, the offensive fouls... that clear path... sigh. We would've won it on any other night.

 

You absolutely can blame the refs when they make bad call after bad call. They were a big reason why we were behind so much in the second half. They absolutely killed any momentum we had any time we got close or tied.

 

And that's the mentality that lets these refs get away with it.

One thing I loved about Phil Jackson is he always called these dudes out when he thought the game was going against his team.

 

I thought America was a land of freedom where especially freedom of speech was held high. What's with this corrupt bull**** about people not saying anything when they're getting ****ed?? If seriously nobody speaks the truth about tonight, we deserved to lose!!!! If you don't speak up against evil, which this is, then it's going to stay the same and you're a coward!!

Why do players that get traded to HOU always held up by the other team's physicals? Is it a time zone thing? We never get them on time.

 

Nah. This team is going to be pissed off come Monday, rested, and getting Corey Brewer coming into the lineup.

This loss won't sit well with them and they are going to be looking at Portland as that team that shouldn't have beat them.

This reminds me of when people thought Dallas would roll right over us. Yall underestimate this team too much. They have a lot of fight, they showed that tonight it's just too bad the refs had money in Vegas.

 

We shouldn't feel any better or worse about this loss than we do about the wins that the team pulled out of their asses vs. Sacramento and Denver. They are closely contested games that show that the Rockets are a very good, but not quite 1st tier team.

Obviously you hate to lose as it affects your seeding, but as far as big picture goes, this doesn't show us anything that we don't know.

 

McHale should have went ballistic and got thrown out just to make a point. It was beyond ridiculous.

 

Blazers routing the Pelicans tonight after triple overtime last night makes our fatigue excuse last game look weaker.

Rockets need to pick it up quickly.

 

Despite the refs, 90-90, they had a chance. 14-7 Hawks to close it out.

That Korver three to make it 95-90 was all she wrote. FTs for ATL there on out.

 

That ticky tacky OFF BALL offensive foul was a momentum changer man...You can't call that in a close game like that...I'm cool if it's going both ways, but if Howard got the same calls that that Antic was getting their whole team would be fouled out in the first half...Dude gets grabbed every play and refs just ignore it

 

he seems to be very reluctant to take technicals, even early in games when the FT isn't so important. maybe he doesn't want to pay the fine.

 

As much as you **** all over the coin flip theory/comment by Morey last Spring, now you're all over it.

 

90-90 then they called a travel that wasn't, then they called a foul on Howard that wasn't.

 

Gotta take the refs out of the game. We were doing that going up big vs. our opponents early part of the season.

Now Harden and Howard are not dominating. Ariza and Papa have gone cold. Only Terry could hit 3s reliably. Bev needs help so that we have to play Johnson out there.

Crucial stretch. The coaches need to get the guys to adjust as teams have begin scouting us better. We need other ways to score if our 3s are not going on and they're clogging up the paint for DMo and Dwight.
