I like Shved he played good against the Rockets when was with the Wolves hes going to ball for us playing with his overseas homie Big Pappy
Ive liked his game, he definitely a guy you have to watch and not just look at box scores. If we flip him for Dragic, I wouldn't be to upset as long as we don't lose other key players eventually I would like to see a rotation of. Bev/Dragic Harden/Terry Ariza/Brewer Jones/Pap Howard/DMO I feel like DMO will be the back up 5 and the offense will run through him in the second unit with shooters and slashers, while our starting group run PNRs,Shooting 3's, and ISOs/Postups,while both groups could still have a strong defense.
Why? Shved fits better than Dragic, and has more potential than TJ and DMo. We already got 3 PGs. Now we got size and energy. Love Brewer also.
I like him off the bench more then starting, but its pretty much a toss up on what you want in starting PG spot(Offense or Defense).
I just watched his highlights. I would bet anything that the Brass think he can play pick and roll with Dwight and that's why DM went after him. He looks really confident playing pick and roll. He shoots and dishes well coming off of picks.
Dragic definitely should come off the bench in that scenario because Beverley is a very low % usage guy but Harden has a MASSIVE % usage. Bev is just there to play great D and 3's/rebound. It doesn't make sense to use Dragic as a starter because he would be the #1 playmaker off the bench and dominate most backup PGs and get to control the offense more. That being said I won't be disappointed if we don't get him as after all, Bev is still pretty young too, and both he and Shved still have a lot of upside. Beverley is also a career better 3pt shooter than Dragic
I have the same experience. And I watched a lot of wolves games the last 2 years. I still like svhed. He is another long wing who can create. We need that. I think he fits wel next to a shooting pg.
