Dallas: let's trade active pieces in our rotation, set the team back, to bring in talent. Houston: let's find undervalued talent, trade little to nothing in terms of immediate impact, and maximize said talent to it's best use. And some of you say Dallas is in a win-now mindset. Classic.
I don't deny anyone has been discussed. How would I know? LOL Knowing Morey I'd be surprised if he HADN'T discussed Rubio. <----- #notaninsider
This is a fantastic trade!!! Defense wins championships, and Brewer can certainly bring it. More depth at both the two and three. Morey also gave up nothing to get him (Daniels and a couple of 2nd round picks). Now can we stay healthy? That's the big question.
Really with the resurgence of Terry and the addition of Johnson. Daniels is really useless sitting inactive
Corey can go flop against our opponents now. He's not flopping vs. Harden anymore. At least this season. Go score 51 again, son!
Great job by Morey. Not having to give up the New Orleans pick or a more significant player than Daniels is huge. We still have plenty of ammunition left for a bigger trade.
Would love to swing a deal for Brandan Wright and then trade Terrence Jones, Jason Terry, the NOP pick, and even Canaan if we have to for Gogi.
We got cash? Seems like for years we've had to throw in a million dollars just to get people to trade with us, even if we were trading down to free up cap. Would be nice to think that's finally over. Not my money or anything, but I still think it matters. I really liked Brewer when he was with Dallas. Still, I thought Daniels was going to eventually become a star quality sixth man.
