Anyone know if Harden is going to give up his #13 jersey so Brewer can wear it?

Good trade. Will help relieve both Harden and Ariza a bit and bolster their fastbreak.

His value will be giving rest to Harden or Ariza. He may not be an elite wing defender but he is a very solid wing defender that's coming off the bench. In the end, he gives us depth.

2 2nds isn't that much, but Brewer is really not that good of a player. He averages an inefficient 12 points a game and he's an overrated defender. I don't know about this deal.

I think they could be interchangeable in the starting lineup based off of match up needs. I definitely give Dmo the nod over TJones based purely on his ability to access a situation and make the right pass.

The protection on the Kings 2nd round pick traded for Brewer is rather interesting... Look at the Sacramento section, that pick could technically go to 3 different destinations depending on where it falls. However, it will most likely be conveyed to Minnesota (by way of Houston).

Seems like the Kings traded a "nominal" pick (only conveyed if it falls between 56-60, so almost worthless) as a part of a consideration in a trade with Boston years ago. Later they used a slightly higher portion of the pick as nominal consideration for a trade with Miami (it only goes Miami if it falls between 50-55). And as a part of the Jason Terry trade, they trade away the remaining portion of the pick. So this pick now going to MIN will be MIN's if it falls between 31 and 50, which it most likely will.

Lot's of people freaking out just because we gave up 2 2nds. We still have a crap load of them and knowing Morey and Les, im sure they'll look to buy one

As a backup to Ariza and Harden, he'll be a very good addition. His lack of outside shooting will be mitigated by playing alongside Terry and Canaan(and Papa to a lesser extent) in the 2nd unit. We needed someone who was a slasher and could get to the hoop when Harden's not in there and Brewer has that ability.

I do not think so, Harden is doing great with this unlucky number right now.

Not a bad trade. Brewer's not going to wow anybody, but on this team he won't have to. He probably isn't a perfect fit, but as long as he can give Ariza and Harden some more rest, we'll be alright. This is a typical Morey deal in that we only gave up Troy Daniels (a non-rotation player who we signed in free agency) and 2 second rounders, of which we had 5 in this year's draft alone.

Anyone familar with Turiaf? I haven't really watched him play since he was with the Knicks. Would he be an upgrade over Black/Dorsey?

I love it. Brewer is a very solid player. Gives up great depth now and we really didn't give up squat
