    My guess is that Rondo will continue to get better from his injury, like Howard did in the Lakers and then Rockets.

    Mavs starting five now looks exactly like Monsters. Rondo adds more defense and elite playmaking.

    Anyone think we can trade for Wright before the trade deadline? That would be a good f u to the Mavs and Ainge. I am sure Ainge will be itching to trade this guy for a true future asset which is why he wants him.

    Morey should have made this deal if we are in a "win now" mode. Dallas seems to be getting the best of us lately.

    Rondo isn't that good, as evidenced by Morey not matching the sack of garbage Dallas traded for him.

    Not really concerned Dallas got him.

    yes, if DM doesn't believe rondo fits with us or if he has other plans to chase, that can be respected. but to deny that dallas just drastically improved their roster and outlook (while giving up stale peanuts) is ludicrous

    kidd was a deadly 3pt set shooter by the time he got to Dallas, too..


    rondo will have growing pains in their offense.

    I would still have Ainge on the phone and offer the TPE and one of the NY 2nds for Wright. He can be a really good backup for Dwight

    I dont think dallas made a smart move at all. but u cant really tell till they start playing together. they have 2 ball dominant guards that cant shoot 3s well... its gonna be a crowded paint in dallas

    This is a major win for us,the Mavericks now have NO chance of stopping DMo and Dwight,with Wright and Chandler they at least had some semblance of interior defense now that is gone.who is gonna guard DMO Nowitski???lol!
