I know it's been available forever but I just started watching The Killing. Blew through 3 eps and thought it was amazing.
Any show that come close to Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy? Need a show to watch after we are done with SOA.
Just finished seasons 1 and 2 of Wentworth. It's a Australian series that is set in a women's prison. I really enjoyed it and binged through them all in about a week.
I'm assuming you've already watched House of Cards? If not it is definitely up there with those in my opinion. Also as mentioned, Peaky Blinders is great and doesn't take very long to get through.
Thanks, Sizzle! Harrisment, I watched first two episodes and I could not get into it. :| How about Homeland or The Wire?
Yeah both of those are good. The Wire is one of the best ever. Homeland can get a little ridiculous, but it's entertaining. I would try HOC again. I've never heard of anyone not getting hooked on it.
Ok thanks everyone! The Wire then HOC! I'm gonna miss watching SOA...now on season 6. Crazy stuff! I'll also miss watching Charlie Hunnam.
House of Cards really picks up, and before you know it, you'll be watching 3-4 episodes a night. I'm currently half way through season 5 of Mad Men, and while it was a slow burn, I'm REALLY into the characters now.
Count me as another one not impressed with House of Cards. Perhaps bc I hated the main characters but I couldnt watch past episode 2 or 3.
You might want to wait until they release the remastered version of "The Wire" in HD. http://hbowatch.com/the-wire-being-remastered-rebroadcast-in-hd-by-hbo/
Watched The Honourable Woman this week. A fantastic single season BBC show starring Maggie Gyllenhaal, who I think was fantastic in it. The first few episodes can be a little confusing, but it really picks up. Really enjoyed it, and well worth a watch.
