Banks fits right into that system at Boston: shoot at all costs.

Kendrick Perkins. The Celtics have had no luck drafting young players, and he could become the next Jerome Moiso. They should have kept their original picks.

For the biggest bust to happen in the draft, it would have to be the player with the best skills. Lebron James, the media will put things down on him whenever he fails so its bigger than many other players. LJ will prove them wrong though :D

Bosh....I never really understood the hype on this guy.

I know I may get flamed for this, but I don't see the reason for the hype behind C. Anthony.
He looks to be a slower, less athletic Paul Pierce.
I don't think he's a bad player, I just don't understand the hype surrounding him as if he's some "franchise-type" player.

As for the person that mentioned Lebron, I somewhat agree with you.
All the hype on him......it's as if he doesn't achieve Magic/Larry/Michael status he will be a bust(somewhat).

Doesn't mean he'll be any good at it, though. Banks just does not impress me at all; I don't think he's that much better than Bremer, to tell the truth.

If it weren't for Paul Pierce, that team would struggle to shoot 40% on the season. So, in that case, Banks does fit in well.

Ridnour or Bosh. Darko could turn into Langhi, too.

Just because a player has the ability to step out and nail a three shouldn't take away from their inside game. Darko is pretty developed as far as big men in the draft go. You might as well say Yao Ming has Matt Bullard written all over him.

I don't know how you can say Banks is diminutive. I don't think he is what Boston needs as a PG, though.
I'd say Kaman would be a bust but I haven't seen him play more than one game so I'm not going to judge him like all of you experts.
I'd say either Dwyane Wade or Hinrich, most probably Wade.

TJ has bust written all over him. He is short and can't hit the outside shot. His greatest asset is dribble penetration but that was playing against college players. In the NBA players are going to be faster, taller, stronger, and he is going to be eaten up.

TJ will be riding wood next season.

If you are talking about next year, I think that Darko will be a bit disappointing. I haven't seen him play but he's still 18 years old and the transition from euro-basket to the NBA is very hard, but I still think that he will be dominating in the future. In the long run, I think that TJ Ford will be a bust. I just don't believe in him playing in the NBA. He will become pretty good, but not as good as a 8th pick should be...

When do people call someone a bust?

IMO, we won't know a bust till 4 years time.

We can now see the busts of '99 and maybe 2000 but we don't know about 01 to 03.

Caremlo Anthony- They say he needs to improve his driving and "blow-by" ability. How exactly does one learn this? You either have it or you don't!

My first thought was Kaman, but I think it's about time a white stiff makes it in the NBA.

    :D

    So, I'll say Bosh.

Carmelo Anthony- his playing with the Denver Nuggets that should be enought.

TJ Ford will be second to Lebron James. Yes, i said it, the guy is that good. His not afraid to penetrate and his not afraid of big guys. If you saw all his high school games and college games you know what im talking about. That's why the Bucks traded Sam Cassell, becuase they know TJ Ford is that good!

I'll say Wade will be the bust. TJ is going to be right up there with Bron, Melo, Darko, and Bosh. Actually, that would be one hell of a lineup in a couple of years. I'l, go ahaead and be the first to predict the rooks will beat the sophomores in the allstar game (even with Bron playing for the big boys as a voted in starter).
