Enough with the favorites, this is more fun. Try to make them bands/artists that are "hot" right now and you just can't understand why. No boy bands or Creed (since that's a given). Here are mine: 3. Cold 2. Linkin Park (sorry, I just don't dig RapMetal) 1. Good Charlotte (dressing like Marilyn Manson + singing like Blink 182 = real sucky band)
1. Linkin Park 2. Evanessence 3. Nickelback What happened to rock 'n roll? I guess its just not cool anymore!!
1. Any 2. Rap/Neu/Post-grunge metal wanna be tuff rocker 3. band Dudes should listen to a little Anthrax or Suicidal Tendencies before they think they are "heavy". FU#K all those posers..... Im with you Beck... bring back the good stuff from the mid 90's for the love of all that is good in this world. I hope this "fad" dies faster than hair metal did in the early 90's! *edit* There are some good bands out there that started their thing before this trend kicked in and every band and their mom jumped on the freaking bandwagon.
Ok.. I wrote this up and then realized I couldn't use boy bands or Creed.. 3. Metallica - hate the vocals.. 2. AC/DC - Ditto but I hate the vocals worse than Metallica 1. Hootie and the Blowfish - can it get any more boring?
1. Punk bands that think they're actually rock like Newfound Glory, Good Charlotte and crap like that 2. Justin Timerberlake 3. Aguliera/Spears/Jewell/Simpson/ Shakira/Pink/every other pop artist that thinks they actually have talent.
There are too many bands i could list. So I will just say i agree with Beckman. Those 3 bands suck hard.
Too many to list. Pop Country makes me sick to my stomach. I also can't stand to listen to Stevie Ray Vaughn . I don't hate SRV. I guess I get why people like him. I just don't at all. All I have heard is what gets played on the radio, but ugh. Is it mostly a Texas thing, would people care as much about SRV if he was from Delaware?
1. madonna 2. oasis 3. metallica (i just dont like em) the worst boybands are from england. seriously bad music. there's this one guy right now who was from a boyband and is now going solo. and guess what his handle is. Abs. yep. as in stomach. seriously you just shake your heads. cant even come up with the words. rocketss #1. shakira is actually pretty talented. i have an mtv unplugged album of her spanish songs. dont understand a word of it but damn its good. its just that she's trying to sell it in USA and apparently her record label convinced her that the only way you can sell in north america is by having a bad hair job and wear clothes from the aguilera collection.
1. DMB- I know it's a very unpopular opinion but I don't like one single song by them. 2. Cold/Stain'd/Korn- at one point any of these three could have been on my favorites list but they have all watered thier sound down so much to sell records that I hate them now. I blame Fred Durst. 3. Creed- I know you said no Creed, but no hate list of mine would be complete without these p*****s.
There are so many that I don't even know their names and I don't WANT to know their names. However, I would throw in the majority of these "nu-metal" bands like Slipknot. Also the bands that Beckman listed would be up there. And I have to echo Htownhero's sentiment about Creed. They are so bad that they get named anyway despite your preface, ima.
3. Good Charlotte - What is there to like about them? 2. R Kelly - nothing more than a child molestor with bad lyrics 1. Ja Rule - claims to be a gangsta rapper, check out his latest videos and you'll think otherwise. i hope your joking... Hootie is one of the most underappreciated bands. They just released a new cd in march, which is self titled... check out the song Innocence. It sounds nothing like the hootie of the mid 90's. It's definitely different.
Yup, that pretty much sums it up IMO. All those bands remind me of the hair-bands of the 80's. I can't tell one from the other. I just know they all blow chunks. Tatoos and wallet chains don't make you tough...
