There always has to be that one fool constantly pining for the other guy like mario is tonight.

D-Mo is better or equal to Jones in every way aside from athleticism and weak side shot blocking ability. That's it. D-Mo won't be traded because our PF spot is finally solidified for the first time since we've had Luis Scola. Well, Patterson was pretty good too.

But anyways, if Jones comes back in time and he has an opportunity to show he's not injury proned, I expect Morey to package him along with some other pieces for a starting PG. That's about it.

I think this team has a ton of potential right now with Harden, Howard, and Motiejunas all being able to create their own shot. And then Canaan and Papa off the bench.

    I'm liking it!

Motiejunas has surprised me. I always thought he was destined to be a complete scrub, looks like he might even keep starting if Jones comes back.

Or any of the last 10 with Tarik Black on the floor with D-Mo.

Btw another point to mention is that Joey Dorsey has supplanted Black as our main big off the bench in McHale's mind I believe. I don't think Black saw the floor in the second half.

Black may hold a physics degree but he has a low basketball IQ.

Lol, I bet you thought dmo was hot garbage and wouldve traded him for absolutely nothing a couple of weeks ago.

I've been a fan of dmo since day one. Anyone that knew anything about basketball would know that all he needed was a chance to finally play in the post.

just like we imagined it. Now we just need TJones,PapaWow, and Cannan back to solidify the 2nd unit.

D-Mo has looked excellent these past couple of weeks. As good as, if not better than, Parsons' time with the Rockets. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain this amount of production, especially now that Dwight is back.

But you won't be able to compare Harden/Howard/D-Mo to last year's Harden/Howard/Parsons because this year we also have Ariza.

I would love Horford on this team. He would fit perfectly. A starting 5 of Bev/Harden/Ariza/Horford/Howard would be just sick.

I would think we would have to trade something like Papa, D-Mo, Terry and a draft pick or two. As much as I would like Horford on this team, would that be worth it? Our depth, even though it is better than expected, is still one of our biggest weaknesses and would be even worse after that.

I was thinking Papa + Jones would equal Odom's production

Dmo needs to play like this for a little bit longer before I give him the endorsement. He's been playing well but let's see him bang with them boys in Memphis, or LA Clippers, or Portland - those are the guys we are going to have to beat in the playoffs.

You are clueless. I'm one of the only people last year who claimed Jones was fool's gold and would get exposed in the playoffs. Guess what, he got exposed just like I said.

I also made a thread claiming Motiejunas would be the X-factor for this year's team while everyone else considered him to be hot garbage.

    So uh, no. Nice try.

At least he can't do worse against them than what T-Jones did against them (LMA more specifically) last year, right?

DMo is better than Parsons at what he does. I don't think I'm ready to crown DMo the third leg in the superstar tripod. He's only just begun to show what he's capable of, but other players have done this and faded away later. I'm hoping this is a sign of better things for DMo and the Rockets, but it's too soon.
