why is former Rocket Brent Barry such a Rocket hater?

Barry is not a Hater. I did miss my homer commentators though.

I'll take Brent any day over most of the bozos they throw out there, especially Reggie who is the stone nut low. I also like C-Webb quite a bit.

 

Its better if the media keeps doubting this team, it will only throw more fuel on the fire as the season goes on. "If" we ever get "healthy" again, I think you will see a real outburst by this team at some point during the season, perhaps not the 22 game winning streak but something close to that.

The west is competitive right now but its also open for grabs, I don't think any team in the west right now is dominant, there are several teams that are very good but none of them dominant, yet. The Rockets despite injuries have the 3rd best record in the NBA. If we can get these guys back and the media keeps up with the blatant disrespect I think it could be the fuel we need to propel us to become that elite team in the west and rise above all of the other very good teams.

Warriors are strong, but they're still a fairly young team with many inexperienced players aboard the ship. All of this dick sucking going on with them in the media will only make it harder for them once their schedule starts to get tougher, and it will very soon.

So, just be glad the media has stopped paying attention to us and tries to discredit our team at every chance. Personally, I hope it continues for as long as possible even into the playoffs. Not many people gave Portland much credit last year heading into the playoffs and look at what it did for them.
