I'd be thrilled to have Jerry Sloan coach this squad .... I cant stand McHale's brand of offense , much rather see Harden & Howard pick and roll teams into oblivion ..... every time down the court.

as much as it sucks I wouldn't mind AK on this team if it helps the bench.

As for Sloan - ugh even more so considering we have the most lethal pick/roll combo in the league and his history with that offensive set he probably would make the most out of it. Its not about the coaches name but if he could get the most out of Harden and Howard so be it.

I think he's enough of a hardass that he would put an end to the DH12 post ups that result in turnovers 37% of the time and Howard going to the FT line to Miss 53.8% of those opportunities or miss 42.5% of the shots he does take ....

I wonder if McHale comprehends those stats ?! They all say: "Do Something Else!!!"

That issue is with Dwight. Not sure what McHale's opinion is but I'm pretty sure letting Dwight use up a lot of possessions to practice his post moves was part of the signing.

Dwight wants his legacy to be like the big boyz. Hakeem, Shaq, Wilt, Jabbar, Robinson, Ewing... With no post ups he won't be remembered as the same. :p

Of course he does ..... but he's not anywhere close to as effective as any of those guys. Hell , he's no more effective than DMo in the post .....

Howard needs a coach who will tell him to check his ego at the door .... If this franchise is about winning championships .... Legacy is measured in championships ....

Kirilenko might not be anywhere close to the player he once was but the front court that the Rockets fielded against the Lakers is not anywhere close to the player he currently is.

This isn't the first time he has complained about a coach. May or may not be true. Still, he might have enough left in the tank to play backup PF here.

It's worth a shot if we can sign him. We need depth bad.

Kirilenko would be a huge upgrade over Garcia

You have absolutely no experience managing super star egos. Let the coaching staff handle it.

Honestly, doesn't Pap provide what would be expected of Andrei if we traded for him. It isn't like this is the AK47 of 7 years ago, when he was truly an all purpose two way player.

    That AK47 averaged like 14p/g, 8r/g, 5a/g, 2blk/g, 2stl/g. We would be lucky if he can do 10, 4, 2, 1, 1 for us.
