David Stern is such a prick.

Cuban got fined 10 grand and is suspended for 2 games.

"Also punished on Friday was Cavaliers forward Robert Traylor, who was suspended for one game and fined $5,000 for throwing a punch at Mavericks rookie guard Courtney Alexander."

Message: It's worse for an owner to run onto the court to protect his employees then it is to be a player that throws punches during the game.

I like Cuban more and more each time he gets fined by the Devil.

David Stern is protecting the interest of the "Good Ol' Boys" network, and it is sickening.

I'm a big fan of Mark Cuban.

Same here. Mark Cuban = the kind of owner I would be.

I would shoot hoops before the game, invite players to chill at my place, sit anywhere I damn please from the upper prom to courtside, and hand out free stuff after the game.

I was watching a story on Mark Cuban. Mavs attendance has increased 50%. He is in a perfect situation..new building, new uniforms, exciting team, and of course sellouts.

I like Cuban, but he had to be fined for this. You can't run onto the court like that, you can't if you're a player on the bench, you can't if you're a coach and you can't if you're the owner.

I've disagreed with several of the fines levied against Cuban, but this one was legit.

There is a mandatory 2 game suspension 10K fine for anyone other than a coach or player who runs out on the court...this was the minimum punishment.

I heard a quote by Phil Jackson about this incedent. he said something along the lines of, "He went out on the court. That's weird. How old is he, 25, 26? That is something I would expect from an immature child."

I know I didn't get it exactly right, but this was the basic idea. Phil Jackson is just jealous of the connection that Cuban has with his players. Phil knows that he would never risk his neck running out on the court to save a player from possible injury, so he bashes the act.

I tell you what, if Phil keeps this Mark Cuban bashing up, he is going to really alienate himself from his players, because I bet there are a lot of NBA ballers who would love to play for a GM like Cuban, and Jackson has done nothing but dump on the guy...

I guess Jackson is just trying to stay in the good graces of David Stern.

Besides, Mark Cuban has been a repeat offender. Traylor has not yet carved out his role as a trouble-maker. Once he punches out 6 or 7 people, he'll get the big suspensions too. Good suspension -- if anything, not harsh enough.

I like Cuban. He may make an @$$ of himself occasionally, but there is nothing wrong with enthusiasm. He bought the Mavs, and they have been on an upswing from day one. I don't see it as a mere coincidence.
