The Lakers are obviously tanking, benching Lin for Bev made perfect sense. Benching Lin for Ronnie Price makes less sense but with Kobe there I get it, but not playing him and Davis together? They want that pick.
the lakers are currently the 13th ranked offense (and 0.7pp100 from 9th), and that's with kobe in mega chuck mode, given their personnel, their problem really isn't offense
There is certainly a vociferous group who seem to feel that. But Byron Scott's system sucks irrepective of any particular fan's opinion of how it affects Lin. Ask any Cav's fan what they think of Byron Scott and his offensive and defensive systems. They had plenty of time to form an opinion, and Lin didn't play there.
Alternate answer: I can understand arguing that Lin is a bench player. But arguing that Byron Scott is a good coach is going just a bit too far.
Along these lines, were you going to share the links to the racist articles you claim the Rockets or their affiliates published about Lin during his time here?
BS sent two legit scorers to the bench so Kobe can focus on chucking. Lakers are tanking and the only thing matters now is Kobe scoring, nothing to see here.
Haven't really been following Lin this year but his numbers don't look bad at a glance, especially not the percentages? Has he just been really bad on defense or what? Or is this more of a tank + get Kobe scoring records type of move.
According to certain people, during this month, the worst case of racism was the Lakers benching lin.
It's a shame how much the Lin fans ruined Jeremy Lin. I was actually a big fan of him in New York and enjoyed the idea of having him in Houston. Didn't realize he had a bunch of disciples, though.
He's not a good PG in terms of running the offense. That said Kobe just torpedoes the offense most of the time anyway
