Giving up 100.5 points per-100 would rank 4th in the NBA, behind only Houston, GSW, and Spurs, and better than Memphis or Chicago. I'm not sure what your definition of great is, but in my opinion it may seem a little stringent.

I'm really looking forward to his matchup against and aggressive big like Bogut (since Dwight may still be out...)

Don't get me wrong, Gasol was definitely his toughest challenge so far, but it felt like the Griz were taken by surprise. I'm pretty sure Donatas will be gameplanned by Kerr.

If he can score at will against physical and aggressive bigs, I will cry tears of joy

well to be honest never thougth to say that but DMo's defence is huge part in last 10 games results and wins, and this post game like garrantee money. I think he shouldnt be strech 4, when Dwigth back and try coexist near as Asic try, difference is DMo great passer, and do not need to be 2feet near basket, to be effective in offence

Asik is never effective on offense, he can't shoot, he can't pass, he can't catch, and he can't finish

So, it looks like the Rockets have found their starting PF for the long term. That makes four positions with the starters solidly locked down.

D-Mo is currently 75% of what I always estimated his potential to be. An all star center. Unfortunately that last 25% is a very difficult row to hoe.

dmo has become #3 on our depth chart even when at full strength.

coincidentally our depth chart fits with the 5 positions:

    #1harden
    #2howard
    #3dmo
    #4ariza
    #5beverly

    #6canaan
    #7jones
    #8 kpap
    #9terry
    #10garcia
    #11black
    #12dorsey
    #13johnson
    #14capela

Not sure about you guys but I put dmo at near untouchable status. maybe a a little hasty to say I know small sample size yada yada.

We need to hold on to this guy.dmo reminds me of a guy that we let go for a pick or something silly and we see the guy tear it up. I hope morey values this guy.. turns out he just needed some minutes. I hope its not a shame we had the guy early in his career.

looks like he might of turned that corner. I am interested to see him with minutes with the full squad. Please dont trade this guy morey. he's 7 foot with post moves.

it looks like DMo can outrun, outmanouver, avoid, go around, and turn away from the bigger\heavier\slower bigs

he seems to have problems with bigs who are faster and the same time stronger than him

LOL. I think there are only two guys on the Rockets team that are untouchable LOL. If DMO can help facilitate a trade for a 3rd star then Morey won't hesitate to pull the trigger IMO.

The most surprising thing for me is how much the game has slowed down for D-Mo. He always had the moves, but he was always making mistakes by rushing things.

Starting has made a huge difference in his mental outlook. I hope McHale will figure a way out to maintain his efficiency when Howard comes back. They need to be able to play together as a duo.

D-Mo is not untouchable, but if he is traded expect something fabulous back. He has become that good.

Does anyone in the NBA fit that description? I cannot think of one.

Not since Luis Scola, have I seen a Rockets player get the ball in the post, and I actually have confidence in the player can make the shot. It's wonderful to see him work the post, and actually play like a 7-footer (I always thought Dwight was taller for some reason), grabbing rebounds and blocking. A season or two ago, nobody in the right minds would say D-Mo was strong, and his improvement and confidence is the only reason why the Rockets are 16-4 now.

He's getting consistent minutes and confidence is a wonderful thing in any sport. I think he's turned that mental corner finally and will be good with any way McHale uses him when all the starters come back.

Very true, he was pretty much negated offensively once the Morris twins started fronting him aggressively in the 2nd half.

I feel like he will have trouble getting excellent deep post position against the Perkins and Boguts of the league. He can only make so many "skyhooks"...or maybe he can?

    I'm cautiously optimistic

Maybe, but I am concerned that D-Mo's confidence will suffer and that he will feel demoted if he comes off the bench.

fair. we will regret it later though. If we can trade and avoid moving this guy. Aka close to untouchable. We just happened to have this guy too early.
