I wonder how the LOFs will feel once he's finished in LA and signed to a vet minimum at another team.

What have I said about Asians and Lin? Is it too much to ask to judge Lin on how he plays basketball? Don't drag me into your r****ded racial ****storm

The only point (if you could read) I was making was in response to venerable posters claiming that Harvard people should feel this or that about Lin, when I've got about a dozen mates who actually go to the university, and say the general opinion is he's well liked.

All you'd have to do is ask my opinion of Lin as a basketball player to know I'm more reasonable than you'd ever imagine, but this ain't about basketball, apparently its about whatever drivel you're going on about

At the end of the day, Lin is an inconsistent, mediocre PG. He has held PERs of 14.9, 15.6, 14 removed from his high usage in NYK. His level ranges from decent backup to average/below average starter. He's the same player he's always been when not recovering from knee surgery

stop concerning yourself with such meaningless crap. I'm here to talk about basketball, in the boxing thread to talk about boxing (needs more posters), if you see someone you deem a lof (probably myself) that you don't like the block me and get on with your life

    LOL what? You're hilarious.

You're probably not an Asian male, but I'll try to explain: HE'S IN THE FREAKING NBA. How many Asian-Americans are in the NBA? None. Okay great, case closed.

As for everyone else who's made thoughtful responses--yeah I get it, LOFs are pretty terrible, just like YOFs and TOFs etc. etc. You know what would be awesome, if clutchfans monitored the % of words that refer to a certain player and if that % is too high, they get kicked off the site b/c they're obviously an OF.

"I tell you, Rondo has no respect for Hahhvahd."

What's the opposite of a Tommy point?

This "Lin" person. Are you sure he doesn't have an agenda? I'm not sure his words can be trusted. Maybe he's a LOH.

Lin is 5-8 with 14 points. Rondo is 4-15 with 8 points. Seems like the breakfast didn't work out lol

Rondo led his team to a 20+ point win. Citing Rondo's shooting % is something Captain Obvious would do on his resume in the list of his major career accomplishments. Its a given. Everyone knows Rondo cant shoot.

Here is a stat line you should be concerned with.

Jeremy Lin - 19 minutes played

Ronnie "The scrub" Price - 24 minutes played

    Oh my.....

lol nice autistic logic. Most of Laker's bench played more than the starters except for Kobe. Your point is?

Rajon Rondo: +40 (highest of all players), 12 pts, 16 assists, 1 turnover (16:1 ratio)
    Jerry Lin: -21, 14 pts, 2 assists, 2 turnovers (1:1 ratio)

Celtics beat Lakers by 17 points.

Now you can bet a LOF will come in here, probably linhype, snoopy or migos, from their ivy league diplomas and 7x5 fifth avenue apartment, and say Lin outplayed Rondo because he scored 14 pts and Rondo scored 12 pts. They don't understand the stats that are coming outta the court! Oh wow, Lin so killer, score higher than season average in 20 point loss!

...he also had 16 assists and 8 rebounds and only 1 turnover. Comparing Lin to Rondo only makes it more obvious that Lin sucks.

Rondo can score 0 points and 10+ assist and still blown the Lakers out.

nice LOH logic ROFL everybody knows Celtics is just a better team. When Zeller goes 10/11 you win games. And why do you mention +/-? The whole team lost by 20 points. Kobe is -29 but Sacre is +8, is he better?

and lol @ this newbie calling a 08er LOF lolll i'm just reasonable but seems like your pea sized brian is filled with hate.

yup they are pretty bad. I wasn't comparing Lin and Rondo, just made a statement on their FG% but LOH's felt the urge to come here and say something loll

I'd like to make a point that this is a stupid thing to say. Go celebrate a shooting percentage while getting wiped out by an awful team on darker parts of the Internet.
