He stood out athletically in the NBA - that's saying something. Give him time to develop in the D-League.

His game in the D league is the pick and roll slash to the basket to take advantage of his athleticism. That's pretty much all they fed him in the Memphis game, and once he gets used to the speed of the NBA defenders, I think he'll be able to contribute noticeably. I mean, did anyone see that hammer dunk he threw in a D league game, leaving from behind the lower free throw circle off a pick and roll? Yeah, you'll see that again and again, for sure.

Seriously, in two years I see him as insurance for when Dwight has his player option, I don't see the Rockets trading him unless for that elusive third star, and he won't be a throw in in any way.

Capella is way too scared out there. I definitely see the potential though. He should definitely be straight D-League until his confidence and footwork get better.

Just saw this...I think the title needs to be "Clint Capela Bloopers".

That was difficult to watch. Thank God he has a lot of time for improvement.

Obviously the guy was crazy nervous.

Personally I am insanely intrigued by this player. He showed a little bit of everything.

He could be a contributor by end of year. I was actually impressed.

The turnovers and mistakes are ones you make when you first walk onto an NBA court. He did a lot of positive things. He's got a lot of energy. He is going to be a good player sooner than it might appear.

I'm not sure he's going to get enough PT for him to settle down by then. Maybe on a bad team, but I'm not sure you want to throw him out there, while trying to win a play off race. He's just as likely to make really bad play, as he is a good one

Nervous would have been not taking shots. He seemed willing to play and willing to shoot. No hesitation. I think he's just inexperienced on how to get clean looks against players with similar physical gifts. I think he improved slightly since the last go.

His mistakes were all about nerves or inexperience with the speed of the NBA game. I think this kid is going to be a nice NBA player for years to come.
