Crazy how it's all relative. We got Harden for a package that costed us Lowry; but today, that same package wouldn't even fetch Lowry for OKC.
was it possible to sign both him and Ariza? If so Morey should have gone that route. I'm a big believer in what Ariza has added to this team so i wouldn't be as excited about Lowrey and Parsons.
Lowry had his best numbers in his career at the time when under McHale. Dragic's breakout happened under McHale. Bev and even Canaan now under McHale. Lin disappointed his fans becuase they overestimated his ability.
Melo sweepstakes nixed this dream. I don't think Ariza would've come into play, so it'd be Lowry and fat Parsons rounding up the 2nd tier, likely with Persons ruining team chemistry and filling himself and Lowry with non "role player" ideas.
Hate it so much that Morey let him hang in the air waiting for that phone call. 100% chance to sign an all-star is better than 50% at Bosh.
Well... Rafer Alston did lead his new team (Magic) to the Finals right after Rockets traded him away. So...yea there's that.
Hurts my heart every time I hear the media say klay & curry or best backcourt in NBA handsdown, knowing Lowry & harden would've been better & we would've had best center Howard.
