If Phili is interested in moving A.I. would you be interested in send Philliy native Cat and EG for A.I.? This will take some more salary so we sould throw in Rice, Taylor, or Cato. A.I. has only two more years left on his contract and would sell tickects. His lable and rep. drop his true trade value. He is a very good player but would he improve this team? The back court would be a bit undersized but Snow is smaller than Francis. That backcourt is very explosive ball needy and ego loaded. But, It would be interesting to watch to say the least; Yao, A.I., Francis.

There is no way Philli will trade us A.I unless we give them either Francis or Yao.

Iverson is one of the last players we need on the team. He's a good player but with a Francis/Iverson backcourt, Yao would never get the ball, and people complain about Cat taking too many shots.

Iverson is the LAST thing we need
He is Cuttino except he takes more shots and passes left
If we get AI we will not make playoffs

Iverson made the finals by his own little lonesome. He's not JUST a good player. He may not practice but he gives every jot of effort he has in him in a game. IMO, AI is the toughest player in the league. He is a major upgrade over Stevie. Even at his age, if you can get Iverson you go get him. As long as the deal does not include Yao.

    But it will NEVER happen.

Philly is just a few minor roster changes from most likely winning the east again. Why would they want to competely start over? In its not like theyre starting over with a Darko or something like that in this trade theyre just getting a bunch of role players. This would never happen. They will only trade Iverson if he starts to act up again and if that happens they can get a heck of alot more

Iverson is a ball hoggin punk who shoots 41% from the field. Keep Cuttino he has a better fg%, he just needs to dish off more than 2.5 per game as well as Steve and the Rocks will be ok. If you want someone from the 76ers lets get Kenny Thomas back and send MoT or Eddie w/ Mooch to them.

Because no one wants to play with a ball hoggin guard who jacks 30 shots per game and makes 12 on a good night and then wants the game to go through him and his 4 dishes per game and then doesn't show up to practice.

The Sixers are actually at a crossroads. They have no cap space and Iverson's contract is coming up soon. They will have to decide if they should go with Iverson and get little help for him, or to move in another direction. I wouldnt be surprised if the Iverson trade rumors started up again next year.

Iverson is a headache. Phila has been trying to trade A.I. for a long time now. They just can't get another team willing to swap their superstar for Allen.

A.I. has been on the trading block more than a few times. The problem is he doesn't have good trade value. He has some bad lables that are hard to shed. Like many posters here, people think he is a ball hog, poor shooter, undersized, thug, bad teammate. He also has a big contract. Now alot of these thoughts are missconceptions but have stuck with him. In trading a player you want to get rid of you never(rarely) get equal value. The production of the rox players offered is better than his and gives philly depth. If philly expects to get another star in a trade then they will be stuck with him until his contrac expires. The only stars they could get are the grately overpaid underachieving types.

Even if its not possible I just wondered how we rox fans would take to the idea.

I don't know if I like it, but it would sell out the laptop(new ???? arena). It would also be a tough team to guard and even tougher to coach:)

The sad thing is, someone had to actually think of this as a possibility and a good idea in order to waste our time by posting it. Why would we want AI on this team? Wouldn't work at all.

I checked the sixers website, they're the same height, but Snow outweighs him.

So let me get this straight. The proposal is:

    Cat
    Griff

    for

    AI

and we get to throw in a couple of dead weight contracts to boot?

    Yeah, thats gonna happen.
