How the hell can the Pelicans be so bad at defense when they have Davis and Asik manning the paint? We were mid pack with Asik even when Harden and Parsons weren't even trying.

I was wrong about their defensive rating. The are 12th in the league and their net rating is 11th which is just one behind us. I think they will start winning games once they start building some chemistry.

Not sure what stats you're looking at, but the Rockets are 2nd in points allowed and 3rd in defensive rating. The Pelicans are 13th in points allowed and 20th in defensive rating. That is where they stand going into today's games.
