When you are bored, day off or weekend, nothing good on TV, what do you do for entertainment?

Also, checking the BBS is NOT an option, because I know that is what probably everyone would say

Most of the time, I'll just play video games on my computer or PS2. If it is during the day that I'm bored, I'll play basketball. Occasionally, I work on a game I'm making. (just by that sentence you can tell how far it is going. BTW, this just on a simple game maker. I don't want people to think I'm a 16 yr old super programmer with his own gaming company. Wow, long parenthesis note.) If all else fails, I may check out my health book that I have to study, my driver's ed handbook or ...uh...read the book I'm supposed to read before summer's over.

I used to veg in front of the TV. I'm trying to get away from that. Trying to use any spare time I have to try to get a money-making project going (I'm building a couple of web sites which I hope to rollout by end-of-year).

TV and video games are great fun, but their addictive nature will waste your life away. Use your time to make money somehow.

I realize that this can't possibly apply to many people, but when I'm bored I just play guitar. I don't think there's ever been a day when I have gone without playing my guitar for at least 2 hours.

Just got this guitar a month ago: http://ibanez.com/guitars/guitar.asp?model=RG1550&z=y

changed the pickups to Dimarzio Dropsonic in the bridge and Dimarzio Air Norton in the neck. It's so much fun to play Satriani/Vai stuff. But most of the time I just downtune and play harder nu-metal stuff.

Yeah yea, I realize no one cares about playing guitar.

I love the guitar. If it wasn't for guitar I'd spend all my time watching TV and playing with myself.

Damn dn1282, Vai and Satch? That's some advanced sh.t. You got a pretty nice guitar, I don't remember ever seeing an Ibanez with a pickguard, besides Vai's signature model. Here's the guitar I'm finnin to get:

That's a sweet looking guitar Chicken Boy. I think I've played that guitar at Guitar Center or something. It sounds super nice in clean mode when played through a nice amp like a Fender.

Yeah...I bought the Joe Satriani Anthology tab book awhile back. It has the sheet music to 30 of his greatest songs. I'm trying to get to a point where I can play every song in that book note for note. It's a tough task, but I've already mastered about 10 of those songs. It's kind of hard to get motivated and keep playing Satch's songs when I hit some of the tricky effects that he uses that I don't have.

It's way too hot outside to play basketball or do anything else out there. SO during the day I am either working during the week, or inside watch tv, playing playstation, or computer. Damn I am in love with Battle Field 1942.

    LOL.

I get bored a lot but what I do is just listen to some CDs. Usually I will do that and have the TV on but with the sound turned down.

-Play PS2. I only play the sports games so this is a tough time of year, now that the NBA is over and NCAA 2004 doesn't come out until 7/15.
-I play a little guitar (I can't solo) so it's fun going to some of the guitar tab websites and figuring out your favorite songs.
    -I pester my cat Weezer.
-Watch The History Channel. Always something good on there.
-Listen to old shows on the Phil Hendrie website.

Wrong. Blind date is better followed by Shipmates.
