Cato/Griffin/Mobley for O'neal is insane! Cato is a great backup and with Yao still not strong enough to endure the constant pounding of 35+ minutes over the course of an 82 game season, we need a solid backup. You could say move O'neal to C when Yao goes out, but then that leads me to the fact that it's still too early to trade Griffin. We spent 3 picks on him, we can't give up on him yet, he's too young. Mobley is an awesome player when he's under control. I say he's a top 10-15 shooting guard in the league and all those 3, all with lots of promise, is too much for one guy. Robinson is a small forward, not a SG. The guy's defense is too BAD to even think about matching him up with the likes of Kobe or T-Mac. Trading for him would just add to the jam we have at SF.
1) Why don't you just go and register a new user name and forget about this one? 2) Why can you not name thread titles correctly so that they do not lure people in expecting to get factual information instead of pure dreamcasting? 3) These two trades will never happen.
Who in their right mind starts Glenn "Matador" Robinson at sg. Do you want to give up a 120 points per game? And why don't you change your nick to Jermaine O' Neal4MVP, since thats all you ever post on: getting him in Houston.
i think the real problem here is that we don't know what the new logo looks like yet... we're all acting like real assholes these days trade rejected. I think we should trade Jason Collier for Bruno Sundov. A meaningless trade that would give us BBSers something to talk about for a few days. I mean the Rockets do revolve around ClutchCity.net... don't they? plus WHO WOULDN'T want a guy named BRUNO playing for the Rockets.
I wouldn't have thought they'd do it either, but I think there was an ESPN article that had that as a possible trade. Still, I don't know if I'd do it.
This line up will last three years at most and then you will have no money to pay Yao! Both SF and O'neal will need 16 mil a year then and you pay another 10-12 mil to Yao, and you will be lucky to have a 8 men roster!
That's what I'm sayin. Even JVG's defensive scheme wouldn't be enough to compensate for Robinson's lack of D.
