We resign James Posey! They say Lebron James may be a point guard. It doesn't matter. He can play shooting guard or small forward too.

Steve Francis cannot possibly guard Lebron James...
    Mobley's a great defender...but 4 inches shorter and 45 pounds lighter.
    Moochie.......
    Juaquin Hawkins is kinda small...
    Glen Rice is too slow.
Terence Morris thinks too much...somewhat slow.
    Bostjan Nachbar.........can't play good defense.

That's why we need Posey! Posey is fast and athletic and can contain Lebron James!

Can James Posey stop Lebron James?

By the way.......Posey can also guard Kobe and T-Mac and Marion...

This was just a parody to Fegwu's post! :)

In order to contain Carmelo Anthony.....WE RESIGN JAMES POSEY!

WTF do we need to plan to "contain" an 18 year old kid who hasn't proved jack in the NBA yet? Also, WTF do we need to plan to contain ANYONE in the Eastern Conference?

We need to worry about keeping a lid on the players in our own conference & division. There are many reasons for resigning James Posey - this is not one of them.

    - Oops, didn't see Fegwu's post! -

    :p

Why do we care? The Rox only play them twice. It's not like they have to start signing players because there is a chance of meeting up with the Cavs in the Finals (a la Nets trading for Dikembe to try to contain Shaq)

Yes, we should resign Posey, but not because he can contain a kid from the JV side of the NBA.

You make LeBron play small forward, and trade Francis and Mobley to Cleveland. Hey, they did do a good job containing Yao :D ;)

    It's a joke guys

    -G'day-

Did Lebron James shoot under 40% in high school?

    guys,

The kid is 18 frickin years old.....................All the hype has all of you believing he will dominate next year but he WON't..........................The kid won't even be rookie of the year, probably Carmelo or Bosh

Don't get me wrong King James is definately goin to be a player and a true star, but not immediately

The worse part is the Cavs need a savior for there pitiful franchise and there gonna put all that pressure on a 18 yr old....which is not fair

Imagine the lakers putting all that pressure on Kobe in year 1....

King James went #1 in the draft for economic reasons guys, because the bottom line is he will put tons of ass's in the seats, night in and night out and he will sell jerseys and merchandise out the ying yang, THE KID IS A WALKIN ATM MACHINE AND THE CAVS KNOW IT

Carmelo was probably a safer pick because he will contribute right away next year, but he wasn't half the marketing machine that Lebron was, thus you gotta go wit the M-O-N-E-Y

Lebron James is simply the best basketball player in the history of the world. The Rockets number 1 priority should be finding someone to stop or at least contain him.

I will be surprised in James can do better than Darko or Melo, or Yao or Amare in the rookie year. The kid got too much fame/money/pressure already.

    To answer the original question:

...back off & invite the J, force him left until he shows you something, make him play defense...

    Simple as that...For now.

As good as James is, he is not a scorer yet. He still needs to work on his jump shot. At this point, Kobe and T-Mac are much better
    at scoring.

Plus, we all know, without a BIG man inside, James will never be successful during the playoff. This is also true for both Kobe and T-mac.

What's the big fascination about LeBron?

We only play the Cavs two times a year, and we're not even in the same same conference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We should be worried about containing the bigs in the west and stop worry about the media monster that is LeBron James in the East. It's not like we're gonna be competing for playoff positioning or division titles with them, so why bother worry about containing a player that hasn't proven jack, and continue to worry about the future Hall Of Fames like Shaq, Duncan, Kobe, Garnett, Dirk, CWebb, ... those are the proven guys that we're goin to do battle with 4 times a year and hopefully continue to see them well into the playoffs.

LeBron actually hit 58% of his shots in high school...
Bosh is NOT more ready than Bron...he's 19 and is thin as Hell...
We should worry about signing defensive stoppers(period), not Bron, T-Mac, or Kobe stoppers...

If we wanna contain LeBron James we just have to flash some dollars at him, you know drop a lincoln here and their. The guy is soo freaking enamored by money he'll be distracted for hours. I really hate this kid and i will never ever have respect for a kid who ditches college for the pros. Just a few thoughts.
