Did anybody read the recent cover story in Newsweek on "Al-Qaeda in America?" My favorite part of the whole piece was when they discussed from where Al-Qaeda sought recruits.... 1. Mosques 2. Prisons 3. Universities Is that hilarious or what?
"one of these kids is doing his own thing...one of these kids is not like the same." (set to sesame street-style tune)
Dang, ,most muslims are capable of being terrorists. If you piss these mother****ers off, they hold bloody grudges. . . No offense to some of you whiners out there.
That attribute is hardly specific to Muslims, or even to most muslims in general. That argument does seem to fit the current Bush Administration though. Offense intended to you bigots out there.
If you meant the bigot part, I wasn't calling the Bush administration bigots. I was addressing the characteristics originally laid out by RKMAN. It does seem that the administration holds grudges and if angered will remember them. It does seem they can be pissed off, and they are CAPABLE of being terrorists. I don't understand why I name a tiny administration has having these characteristics and I'm called irresponsible, and painting with a broad stroke, while at the same time somebody else labels an entire religion with diverse people with the same group of characteristics and you don't say a word? Which is more broad and irresponsible, labeling a group of politicians with those characteristics or hundreds of millions of people around the world.
You're right; I should have stood up to that bigotry. I'm just so attentive to your anti-Bush rhetoric that I am oblivious to some of the other stuff...
I understand, and in this context it was entirely rhetoric trying to draw comparison to RKMAN's comments. The other stuff I do truly believe, and it does turn out to usually be anti-Bush. But while others may not believe it, I believe it's anti-Bush because the facts lead me to feel that way. IT's not that I just hate the guy and seach out more reasons to hate him. Though, in reality after patterns of such evidence a personal bias is probably formed, and may subconciously come into play.
the funny thing is, islam doesn't believe in holding grudges. these terrorists aren't closer to being real muslims than everyone in this BBS. they're just crazy stupid people and they exist everywhere regardless their beliefs. oh well, now that you've mentioned this, then of course we're not offended. how can we.
