I wondered about that; I thought they were the baseline. Was there ever a "trend" where shorts got really short? Not in my lifetime that I can remember....
At one time, there was a happy medium. Probably in the early 90s (wasn't it Chris Webber that started the over sized drawers phase??). : Too Short : Too baggy : Just right.
Is there anyone under 30 who thinks baggy shorts in basketball are bad? IMO Francis' shorts are not baggy. They're normal. I'd never wear nuthuggers like Sampson and Drexler.
I'm 28 and I think they are bad By the way, I am not against baggy shorts, its just playing basketball or any sport with such baggy shorts is ridiculus.
I feel the same way. His shorts don't look baggy to me and I would feel VERY strange wearing the other two shorts in the post. (short and "medium," though those look really short to me as well.) This may be do to the fact that I'm 16 and all I've known is baggy shorts and pants.
I agree, tatoos are okay I guess but to many look silly. Cheeroke Parks is by far the worst, he dosent even look white even more. The other stuff dosent bother me or I dont notice if were talking NBA. I like the baggy shorts nobody in the NBA goes to far. If you go to a rec center,play ground ect. than thats a different story guys look foolish with some of the shorts theyre playing in
A million Stockton pictures and you had to bring that one up? I'm over 30 and I don't mind the baggy shorts. They should only come down to the top of the knee cap though. Any longer and that's too long. Tatoos are out of control. Especially on this guy:
It's not a trend on the court but rather off it. I never can or will understand the appeal of wearing a jersey backwards. You have to buy it 4 sizes to big so that it doesn't choke you and it will end up coming down to your knees. I don't see as much backwards jerseys anymore so hopefully that trend is on its way out.
AMEN!!! I'm probably the only one, but I love our uniforms, always have. I do want new uniforms though, cuz 1. they could be better and 2. so I can stop hearin everyone - including the players - complain about the so called "pajamas". I hate it when people correlate our not winning 3 in a row because of the new uni's/Barkely. Barkley made us better.....but getting back on topic I voted for high socks, those are so ugly! I love the baggy shorts, all of my shorts go down to at least my knees (at least). Feel naked if they're any higher.......if that didn't give away the fact I'm not over 30 haha...
