Hi friends. There has been a song that I like but could never get the name of it or the artist of it. I first heard the song in the summer of 2001 so I assume that it came out around that time. So I was wondering if any one here can help me. From what I picked up from the few times that I heard it I remember parts of two lines. The few parts that I remeber goes like this: "Where goes the time I spent with you..." "...(some singing that I don't remember)and turns to silver and gold and love each other." Can anyone who knows this song please tell me the name of it and the artist. Thanks
Not sure if this is what you heard but here is Neil Young's song Silver and Gold: "Silver And Gold" Workin' hard every day Never notice how the time slips away People come, seasons go We got something that'll never grow old. I don't care if the sun don't shine And the rain keeps pouring down on me and mine 'Cause our kind of love never seems to get old It's better than silver and gold. I used to have a treasure chest Got so heavy that I had to rest I let it slip away from me Didn't need it anyway so I let it slip away. I don't care if the sun don't shine And the rain keeps pouring down on me and mine 'Cause our kind of love never seems to get old It's better than silver and gold. I don't care if the sun don't shine And the rain keeps pouring down on me and mine 'Cause our kind of love never seems to get old It's better than silver and gold.
A little more of the lyrics are coming back to me. They may not be 100% correct but from what I remember: "Hey ladies... get up, get up... get wild. Get a freedom of style." I think this song came out in 2001.
LMAO, that's def not Neil Young then. Maybe if you could narrow it down a bit... Dance music? Country? Polka? Female voice?

I think surfguy got it.....that's what i was thinking about yesterday because that's what it sounded like
Thanks surfguy. That's the song! The song which I have been looking for for nearly two years. I really appreciate it. That's what is great about this BBS Forum - it alows discussion amoung people and people here are generally helpful.
any of you guys know the name or artist who did the song that went like... "I do both jay and jane, they make me feel the same" I can never freakin find it.
Well since we solved that case, I'm sure u music sleuths can get this one pretty quick too. I've been hearin this new song on the radio, of the R&B genre, sounds like R.Kelly. The chorus is either saying "oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy" in a little baby voice, or its saying "Chainya Chainya Chainya" from an indian movie song speeded up. Please help me out, I like the song.
Camron - "Oh Boy" Mariah Carey made song called "Boy (I Need You)" with some excerpts of that song, so it maybe her song too.
Nope. Neither of those. I DJ too, and I usually get 90% of the hip-hop/rap/R&B stuff thats coming out 6 months before it comes out but this is one song that slipped past me because I dropped my, hmm, "appreciation level" for R.Kelly after the....well......thing.
I heard this song the other day...not sure who sings it...it goes something like "cool drink 'o' water, such a sweet surprise"...anyone know it?
