The Rockets start off 20 and 0 at home, and you can feel the excitement in the city. I get a pair of great tickets for Rockets versus Jazz at the Summit. The Jazz,their crazy owner,their dirty coach(as a player as well..though he is a winner),their players(old,dirty, crying like babies),and almost all of their whiny fans make me sick.I'm so glad they didn't win a title when they had the window.Black Jesus in sneakers himself took care of that...I loved that!(I love Dream,but MJ was unbelievable)...We sure did have our battles over the years with them though....great rivalry.Even so you have to hand it to them on the fundamentals,execution,and that damn pick and roll they perfected.....It's a horseshoes and hand grenades thing!Screw em! Thanks Behad,I threw that out off the top of my head and screwed up.Moses was one helluva a player, and a character at that, wasn't he?Great offensive rebounder...man...Sometimes it would be funny(and impressive) how he would get two or three of his own rebounds in one possession and finally convert..LOL...Those are good memories..He,taking Dream under his wing,the fonde days,Moses hooking Dream up with suits.....unbelievable.Moses won the MVP both of those years didn't he?There may be one more,I think not though?..the truth is definitely stranger than fiction....and look at where Dream stands in the history of the NBA and the history of Houston now..!?!?...what a wonderful journey for all...well ,I'll use the first one for a while starting next time...I'm straying off topic....sorry everyone, just remeniscing.. The Rockets need to hire a thug next time we play the Jazz & let him go into the game with the sole purpose being to throw an elbow right square in the face of Malone. Don't kill him or permanently injure him, but knock him out for a couple of games. That might make him think twice about throwing elbows the next time. He needs to reap what he sows. The league took away his flops & now we need to take away his elbows. The guy is a whiny jerk. ------------------
Hey I remember that game!!! That was my very 1st live Rocket game. I didn't have great seats like you, Behad, but I wasn't complaining (my friend got the tickets). I remember booing the Jazz so hard when they were being introduced. Everyone else around me were clapping their hands (not because of my booing). I remeber us losing the game by 1 or 2 points in the closing seconds. I was pissed!!!! Although I am a day too late.... Jazz SUCKS!!!!!
