I'm back. Who missed me? Let's all hold hands and sing songs. "Luci, you got some spalnin' to do..." Anyway I've got a real question to go with this waste of space. Any of you guys have turtles or know how to take care of them? I have two red earred turtles and I need advice on lots of stuff so... HELP ME!!!
Ahhhhh.....some how I expected to see "Free Post" in this inital post. Welcome back....maybe maybe no!
Sorry buddy... This website says that: "Generally speaking, turtles are not appropriate pets for young children." link
I had 4 turtles but they all died A dumbass relative bathe 2 of them in boiling water. My evil ex-girlfriend flushed 1 down the toilet. The last one just wouldn't eat. I place them in a small fish tank but with much less water in it and usually feed them with turtle food that you can get in any pet store. Baby turtles are much harder to take care of because they almost never eat.
This is my other turtle: Henryangelo Penelope is about four times his size. So seriously, none of you nerds know anything about turtles? Mine are about 7-8 months old. They're brother and sister. Henryangelo is smaller than Penelope because he has been living with my older brother in California, but now he's mine!!! My turtle eats, so HA. Yo Kam, nice sig. If you find out where any live let me know so I can come too.
I could imagine the last one wasn't too thrilled with his prospects... I love turtles. Nowadays if I find them I just take them to a pond or something though. I'd have them as pets except I'm too lazy to clean out their cage, bowl, etc. I have this book about taking care of turtles...kinda like those "Idiot Guides to..." books. You should look into that.
I used to have some. I fed them lettuce. But one captured and ate a bee one time on it's own, so maybe if they don't eat lettuce, try bees.
