The way we have been shooting the ball these last 3 games , we just might lose to Kobe and the Lakers.

KlutchQT I am very concerned with the high volume of three's that we are shooting. Especially when they are not falling. This is the 3rd game in a row in which we shot horrible from downtown. Imo its not a good offense and it never won any team a Championship.

the lack of offensive creativity is shocking. But these thoughts didnt enter mymind when our shots were falling. Everything falls into place when we are hitting. It is crazy we are missing wide open threes , so its not like they arent being created. Dwight needs to accept PnR tho. He should do that at maximum and post up at minumum unless he has a miss match or is feeling it. James shooting is kinda scary , like i have no faith when he shoots now. I cant remember last time he made two straight. History says he will turn it around. But i think he is adjusting to being our only playmaker and now giving his all on D.
    We really need TJones back.

We have no bench and you say we're 3-6. Are you kidding me?

Time will only tell baby girl. You can't see it now, but you will when the picture presents itself.

I am still not confident that we can beat Mavs/Portland/GSW/LAC. We just had easy opponents.

My biggest concern for this time is the bench, we have almost nothing on the pine that adds much value. I have enjoyed Pap and Canaan. Canaan the most but still I would rather see a better PG and Beverly coming off the bench. Without better role players are ceiling will always be low, and our current offense has been proven multiple years it is not sustainable night after night. We are very inconsistent and have huge scoring droughts just cant win a championship that way.

Sad game, but it is what it is. Horrible shooting can't keep winning. A good team like Memphis won't let us win on that one.

This. I also thought that what was needed was an upgrade in complimentary and bench players such as getting an Ariza and going after someone like a JJ Barea but that isn't what Morey is about - he's following the Carroll Dawson blueprint for success...

Well, I said that when they faced Philly and look at what almost happened.

This team can't win when Harden scores under ten points and is basically shut down against a good team like that. Who would make up the production that Harden gives us? No one. There are certain teams with excellent defenders that can actually defend Harden. Allen has been known to be one of them.

For me, the real test comes when we play the Mavs coming up. That's a damn good team with maybe the best bench in the league. I personally think they are going to be too much for the Rockets given we can't match their bench play (unless Terry does something spectacular probably against his former team). But, we will see.

Dallas will beat up on low teams and lose against contending ones. Once Parsons becomes a non factor you easily beat them.

If we would have lost a close game I wouldn't be on a complaining fest but that performance last night was d league level embarrassing.

We play the Mavericks on their 2nd night of a B2B, if we lose it will be extra embarrassing.

Right now our 9-2 record looks inflated due to competition. Not saying we are frauds, we just look like frauds.

That's the thing with the Mavs. They have such a deep bench that they don't have to tax their starters like we do by playing them practically the entire game. There is enough playing time to go around and deep into that bench. The second night of a B2B may not matter much at all if their starters only play 20-25 minutes with the bench making up the rest. I can't wait to see how the Rockets deal with them. I think it's going to be a long night for the Rockets. The one thing we have going for us is they don't have someone who can contain Harden like Memphis did in this last game. Harden is going to have to come up big as always for us to win. Terry could be the x-factor.

Grizzlies have had 2 back to backs. The first, they barely squeezed out a win versus a terrible Charlotte team. The 2nd they lost to the Bucks. Even Michael Conley respected the Rockets enough to say "This is a team that can come in here and blow us out by 30 easy, so we had to stay focused."

We've had 3 back to backs, a game heavy schedule, and a Mexico City game that was surely overloaded with NBA obligations. That and our already depleted PF rotation has been missing our starting PF.

I'm thinking a little bit of rest and home cooking will help our guys out. Our fans need to come to games early and be loud too.
