    Sorry for the KNEE JERK, but this team is not a contender, not even close to it. o way we are able to beat the top 5-6 teams in the West with this s**tty offensive scheme. Shooting (and missing) 3's to the point where it's almost laughable is a joke.

    What excuse will Morey make for this nightmare showing tonight I wonder ?

    Doesn't mean much, there are so many variables with regular seasosn games.

    In this case.

    Pros
    -We were only missing one player.
    ...

    Cons
    -Memphis had rest.
    - We were coming off a b2b and a road trip that started off in Mexico
    - Memphis is 19-0 at home

    The Rockets haven't been the same since that trip to Mexico, it's probably because they had no rest since returning. They took 3 days off before the Mexico City game, then got one day of rest before going on this mini-road trip.

    In the playoffs, there will be no Mexico City trips and b2bs. We are 9-2 now, that's better than a lot of the other so called contenders can claim...and these so called contenders losing to teams like the Jazz and the Heat.

    That's not true. Rockets have the sixth easiest. Memphis has the third easiest. So actually, Memphis' sos is marginally better than ours. And they've had considerably less road games as well as back to backs.

    Let's just all be super negative though.

    Joey Dorsey is just a BAD BAD basketball player. I don't see how he can contribute in ANY way. He can't rebound, score, or pass, he's a total negative on the court.

    But they are essentially right.

    Don't get it twisted, the Rockets are a talented group. But their makeup right now makes them very easy to defend. Double Dwight and stick on the perimeter to close out on shooters. Having no one who can drive and/or create besides Harden...who suddenly can't hit a shot...makes us a very easy team to defend.
