I thought it was 'just one game' too...against Philly. Then last night and now tonight. That's a pattern. Team seems to have regressed significantly. Let's see what adjustments the coaching staff makes (not holding breath).

Sorry, but that is a crap ass excuse. Going into this game we allows a league low 88.9 ppg. Memphis is right behind that at 91.3 ppg. Missing this many 3's and continuing to shoot them in volume is embarassing. The whole team should be embarassed for this performance and in fact the last 3 performances. None of them speak "contender".

Naw an embarrassing beat down like this there is no excuse for. Be professionally competitive enough to not get humiliated in such a big game. You have the best center and shooting guard talking about championship... this kind of play is unacceptable.

How many FKING threes are we going to brick?

 

Its called no interior presence and teams are just going to close out on our three point shooters instead of cheat to help on the inside.

For instance, DMO is so hideously and horrendously bad that his defender is doubling Dwight. DMO can't hit a three so nobody has to bother closing out on him and the rest of the perimeter defenders can just stay close to their shooter.

We need Jones back. And DMO needs to either hit the weight room or get his ass shipped back to Lithuania or Slovenia or where-ever that scrub is from.

 

Troy Daniels 5/20 this season on 3's. I'm not sure I've seen get an open look though. Just forcing it all season.

 

Regardless of this being a back-to-back, and missing our starting PF up against Randolph/Gasol combo, you just know the media and general fanbase will give it to the Rockets. We've been doubted the entire season so far, due to weak schedule or missing players when we play a good team.
Now all the haters will come out in full force and say "I told you so".
