I have bought the game... And it will not work... Just wondering if anyone here has played it today and has any tips on how to subscribe. Thanks
My SWG will come in tomorrow, so I'll have 2 addictions, Everquest and SWG! Planning to play on Starsider as a Mon Calamari, post here if you are going to play please.
I was in the last beta test and I didn't have any problems installing or running the software. Just make sure all of your video drivers are updated and you've opened up the correct port numbers in your router (if you have one).
Speakin of The Force, here's a great quote from SPACEBALLS Dark Helmet: "I see your Schwarz is as big as mine"
Starsider is the clutch city choice? I'm going be creating a character soon. It would be cool if a bunch or some of us were on the same server.
Im down. I will create a doctor on that server... not sure of name yet. give me yours and i will send you a tell.
I tried to get on that server and it was full every single time. I eventually created Acebar Cloudstrider on the Scylia(?) server. He's a marksmen, with some novice bralwer skills. I think I'm doing poorly in going up in my skills. I haven't been able to go up in any of them yet. I don't know if that's normal or not. I may try again on the other server.
Is it similar to Diablo 2? Do you gain experience by fighting and find items to better your character? If it is.. im gonna buy it.
I've been playing Planetside. It's like Tribes 1 except you have to pay for playing it and you have to wait a lot longer to change from light armor to heavy armor to flying vehicles.
Kind of, but the mechanics are very different. It's pretty much a total player created economy. The best weapons, clothes, etc. are all created by other players. Even if you find a vendor to buy from they won't be as good as player made stuff. Also entertainers, medics, are all viable player professions, and needed for those that go out and kill things. The graphics are better, and the way it works is vastly different. There are thousands of players like Everquest, but it's really a very different game.
