Eh, I think if we were privy to the things said between harden and KD when they compete against each other it'd sound as harsh or more so.....and they're like close friends. It just part of their game during the regular and playoff season. Nothing to see here.....

I expect a Dwight bow to Durant's face the next time the two teams face each other. If Durant is on the floor, that is.

Frankly, I'm a bit shocked that no one else noticed this. A LOCAL OKC WRITER IS HUMILIATING KEVIN DURANT. I don't think anyone in the NBA thinks they could win a fight with Howard, unless they have professional boxing experience. That goes double for KD since he is built like a twig, and Howard knows this. There is not a chance in **** KD thinks he could win that battle unless he hides behind Perkins. It is meaningless.

The possibilities I can think of for this writer:
    1) He's an idiot. The fact he is from OKC supports this statement.
    2) The writer is trying to embarrass Howard. Maybe, but it is a pretty weak effort. Howard hears this crap every day now, so some podunk journalist isn't going to phase him or anyone else.
    3) The writer is trying to embarrass Durant. Whether or not he intends it, this is the only actual result that I can see occuring.
    4) He's trying to get Durant and/or OKC fined. Supposedly, the NBA is a "family" sport, so that kind of behavior, whether or not it occurs every night, won't be considered "nice" when it hits the press.
    5) He trying to get himself fired. See #1.

Oh yeah... to all the tough guys... I'm betting we won't hear this stuff when Morey goes after KD.

I put my money on him going to DC. Sorry if this may have been mentioned earlier in the thread, but it makes a lot of sense. They have their backcourt (Wall and Beal) shored up and a serviceable center in Gortat locked in for awhile. I believe Pierce's contract expires the same time Durant's does...idk, the stars seemed aligned here. "The prodigal son returns"

KD like 95 lbs. Dwight can sneeze on him and knock him over.

Best way to get back at another player is to keep beating them. Best way for a player to keep beating a team is to dominate. Dwight just needs to dominate these guys. Come playoff time if we have to face the Thunder, Dwight needs to be ready to dominate the Ibaka/Adams/Perkins trio.

    Winning cures all.

Means nothing, really. Jordan and Rodman hated each other for many years when Rodman was playing for Detroit, yet they ended up playing on the same team and winning ships together.

Winning cures everything, it wasn't long ago that people were dogging on Lebron and calling him soft too. After Shaq left L.A everyone was dogging on Kobe for not getting out of the first round without Shaq...etc etc.

Rockets can shut up the critics by winning the ship, or atleast by making a strong push in the playoffs. Until then they get to listen to it the same way all the other great players did...Malone, Stockton, Barkley, KJ, Ewing, etc.. all of them labeled as chokers, right?

Anyway, it doesn't matter because at the end of the day I don't see Durant coming here anyway. He's going to stay with OKC, and any words between him and Dwight aren't going to make any difference in his decision.

Thing is if Durant, or Westbrook, or never the less the both of them played, the Rockets would have been blown out the water.

It's troublesome that we can throw out basically our whole team minus T Jones and still nearly loose to a team that is completely broken. Whats worse is that it's not even like they got lucky and played well, we just played especially awful. A win is a win and i'm happy, but tonight was still worrisome and disappointing to me.

Lol..... I think you hear p***y comments in a pickup game, in any heated game

Kyle Lowry probably thought about saying it while he threw that basketball to the female referee

TJones probably thought about it when he accidentally stepped on that homeless man

    Fans, way to overreact

They played excellent defense. IMO most NBA teams would not have come out of that arena with a W on that night with how hard those guys were playing. They held us to 68 points. That's a HUGE achievement even if we held them to 65.

We've played them with a healthy team. They're a better team. That doesn't mean they're always going to be better and it doesn't mean we necessarily would have lost. That's not how the NBA works.

What bothered me most was Dwight jawing back with them because he let's it get to him. Durant only did this, not because he thinks he's soft, but just to get in his head and nothing more. Dwight needs to learn how to let that crap roll off his back and just ball. Seriously, who get's mad when someone calls you a p***y? The few times it's happened to me I laughed because it's an insult someone uses in junior high.

P.S. If Dwight is reading this...stop going for the monster dunk. Just drop it in there you idiot or you are going to keep missing them and look like a dingus.

Trash talking is just a regular part of the game. Did all the rules and restrictions by the NBA make us fans so sensitive, that we have to make such a big deal out of some emotions on the court? I like having seeing some heated emotions on the floor. In my opinion, there's really nothing to see here.

I feel like, from a basketball standpoint, I'd rather play with Westbrook and Ibaka than with Beal and Wall. I don't think going to DC gets him closer to a championship, but who knows?

No. They were thanking him for taking that ridiculous final shot over Dwight to try and tie the game.
