    Anyone know if Root Sports will be carried by Consolidated like CSN was? The only confirmation I can find online is via Wikipedia and I don't exactly regard them as the most accurate source.

    Not for a long time. As stated multiple times, the head people that work at Dish are staunchly against paying for Regional Sports Networks. You're going to have to switch providers to watch the Rockets.

    And besides, Directv is better anyways.

    Sweet! I live in Rockdale Tx, Austin area. Channel 674 on DTV is now showing. I have no sports package. Looks like I get the games for free now. Glad I cancelled my LPass
