If you think Walton will be there at 44 you are smoking yellow dope.

Despite his familial relationship to Bill "Drink the bongwater, it's OK" Walton, I wouldn't mind Luke in the PJ's (or whatever we have next year). Admittiedly I'm not a huge NCAA basketball fan, from what I saw of him he's a hardnosed player who hustles and does the dirty work. If nothing else, he can be the Rockets' Mark Madsen. The one player every other teams' fans hates and yet they still go, "Damn, at least he looks like he gives a crap!"

I'd love to have Walton on this team. We need a tough guy who can pass the ball and who'll be a good teammate.

This still amazes me if true. If the man could help the team last year, why not use him? Oh well just use him this year and Ill be over it

WE should get Dantay Jones from Duke. He seems like a nice fit. Atheltic and big enough for a 2 guard.

Maybe Luke can be our "Shane Battier."

One of those hard-nosed, blue-collar workers.

Hell, just draft him and sign him so his dad will lobby for more Rockets games on national tv (i only see a few rox games a year b'c i'm finishing up college out of state)..

I don't see the hype behind Bill Walton as a good broadcaster tho. He tries too hard.. always talking mystical, metaphysical bull$#!% and totally dogging Hakeem during the championship years. Ugh.. he better hope his son goes to Portland so he can smoke up with the rest of the Jail Blazers.

Walton would be a nice role player for us and bring us the kind of basketball intangibles that we need desperately. This draft is the deepest in years according to Marty Blake. We very well could get a gem with 44. Keep your fingers crossed.

Bring him in. With walton we'll get more media coverage. Trade collier. I've seen enough of the collie

Why all the love for Luke? Why would he get more playing time than TMO who brings more to the game? I just think once Luke gets into the NBA with his inconsistent shooting and lack of ability to create his own shot, his defender will just back off him and take away the passing lanes.

I think I'd perfer Dante Jones, but I wouldn't mind Walton either. Of course I'm holding out hope that Ndubi Ebi somehow falls out of the first, and the Rockets make a move to grab him at the top of the round.

Sounds good to me! If he is a strong floor leader could he substitute for Moochie?:p
