Seems like the type to plant something on you just to be right. **** ass holes like this. You WANT this jerk off in your neighborhood Your smarter than that cheke.
I try to be as pro LEO as possible, but this guy is beyond the pale. He stole the driver's keys, illegally searched a vehicle after a refusal to give consent was given, threatened a civilian with physical violence, and apparently COMMITTED physical violence on at least one of them. He should be fired, and if his partner actually did search the vehicle after a refusal was given he should be fired as well. That's police-state bull**** right there.
If you have nothing to hide, they have nothing to suspect. Can I come over and rummage through your stuff tonight?
i wouldn't put it past that sorry excuse of a cop to plant something. it's the principle of the matter.
Because I have the right to! If I use my 4th amendment right to refuse a search why am I automatically treated like I am a criminal? Not to mention like the guy said in the video, whatever issue the cop had with him wasn't even involving the car. He wasn't in the car when he was pulled over so why does the cop think he needs to go thru his car?
After letting my emotions on this fade, all I can think is that I bet this guy goes to Frenchy's or Popeye's or whatever and orders a " godd*mn liter o'cola."
This is a bad cop. Not just bad as in immoral... But bad as in bad at his job. What if there was something g in the car? Now what... You've just obtained that illegally moron. He should be fired for being bad ... However you are using the word. Bad employees should be let go.
If you're not muling drugs in your ass you should have no problem with a cavity search, from that cop in the video.
As a freshman at Rice, me and a black, scholarship student athlete drove back to Illinois for xmas break taking I-59 through ... east Texas...around midnight I had just pulled an all-nighter for my last test so was sleeping in the passenger seat below visibility, and he took the first shift of driving. He was a Senior, so was taking a lot of boxes back home mid-year. We were driving some type of station wagon so the boxes were visibly stacked to outside viewers. Next thing I know my buddy was trying to wake me up because we were pulled over by the cops. I peered up as one of the cops was approaching the passenger side with a flash light. I was still really hazy from catatonic sleep. But it was clear afterwards that the side cop was surprised to see a passenger. We got out and stood at the back of the car and showed our Rice IDs and said we are driving through your county to go home for xmas. You could tell the cops were perplexed what to do. It was obvious they were pulling Lawrence over for being black with a bunch of boxes in his car. They said, well, your license plate light is out, but we will let you off on a warning. Even those guys did not ask to search the car. But we wondered what would have happened if Lawrence was all by himself, with no white kid side kick.
