I can't remember the last time that I was this pumped for a release. So if we digitally downloaded it, we can start playing at 11 pm central, right?
Technically it was that before it was an abbreviation for swagger, and it definitely existed before the office, but yeah.
To be fair GameStop is doing an 11pm release to coincide with the launch, with that said you'll still have to download the patch when you get home.
Im really heartbroken that the CE playlist won't be live tonight and that it will be 2v2 when it does go live. At least the maps will be in other playlists still and custom games.
Yeah that pissed me off when I saw it. That's really what I want to play most. Halo CE >>>>> everything after it, multiplayer wise.
Yea I would have paid 60 bucks just to have CE with online matchmaking...at least some maps are sprinkled into the other playlists so by the time they fix whatever bug it is, they scrap that stupid 2v2 idea and go back to 4v4.
I'm sure they'll change it if people demand it, but at launch there will be no playlist. You will be able to play some CE maps in team deathmatch, and big team I believe. With that said when it launches it will be 2v2.
Matchmaking is slow but working for me. I wish they gave you the option of doing objective or team slayer playlists within each game.
I was never the biggest Halo fan but I enjoyed the game once in a while. I sold Destiny for $40 at Target and put it towards Halo MCC. If anyone is skeptical, it's definitely worth $60 as it's basically 4 games in 1. Can't wait for Dragon Age Inquistion and Alpha Sapphire next week.
This game is glorious now that the matchmaking is mostly fixed. Still a few bugs for them to work out, but this is awesome.
It's still taking annoyingly long times to get into games (5-10 minutes or so at times), but I'm consistently getting into games, which is more than I can say compared to yesterday. Hopefully they get it all fully fixed soon, because it's been really fun actually playing.
The single player is very nostalgic. Enjoyed playing Halo 2 and Halo 4 again a lot more than I thought I would. I haven't played multiplayer yet; I tried a few times yesterday, but I watched the Rockets game and went to sleep. Hopefully it'll be playable tonight.
:/ I missed out on it... Wont be grabbing an Xbox until they release another white console..... I'm tempted on picking up a cheapie on Black Friday but chances of them being on stock is low. May have to wait for Halo 5 bundle..... I know its childish but I want a white console.... Waited one damn day and sold out.....
Wal-Mart has a one-hour guarantee. I'd worry about the Target bundle selling out quickly, but I've seen consoles not do as well as expected. Still remember last year when my Gamestop had both XB1 & PS4 in stock on 3 different trips I made to that store on BF. I guess people just assumed they would be out of PS4s and didn't even bother trying. I want a white one too. Well, I want the freaking bundle they released internationally but stiffed us on in the states.
