Missed the game but it is encouraging that the board isn't in self destruct mode... When I saw the score I was worried we might have the first meltdown of the season.

73-9 would be nice. I could see more games where we have to deal with injuries.

Plus we have two prior years of evidence to back this up. They are media darlings, but we are still the better team.

Harden was awful, Ariza was awful, and Howard was out.

Rockets were tied in the 4th.

    Lots to like about Canaan.

Yep. If Harden just plays decently, we win this game no question. If we're healthy, this honestly would've been a blowout IMO. This Rockets team is really good.

Absolutely agree. Rockets will win the series with this team I have no doubt. Cannon and DMo had good showings. That is positive news going forward.

Dmo showed up but there were still at least three possessions where he failed to grab the rebound and ended up losing it.

This team desperately needs a big with a legit jump shot. Right now we have none.

4 games in 6 nights with light travel against a very good team is very challenging especially with 3 starters injured however the Rox are a very young & Dynamic team.

In the second half: when shots aren't falling and some calls aren't made, the Rox must attack more which will also create better and wider looks all around. Better D & Rebounding becomes even more important as well.

Not playing Black much or even Dorsey in the second half is a head scratcher...

Playing HarDen soo many minutes consecutively and all of the second half considering this recent stretch of games shows minimal confidence in the bench.

Sometimes plants need some water

Harden has been tired since Thursday. GSW got lucky. They will probably lose tomorrow.

We learned that aside from Harden, Canaan seems to be the only one able to take it into the paint area.

No one else could. This exposes our lack of playmakers. Kostas could drive but had no one to pass it to.

    Canaan is one tough dude.

Had GS been equally good they should have dominated a depleted Rockets from start to finish. Instead they struggled in the first half and it required the Rockets to lay a massive egg in the 2nd half for them to actually build a decent lead. I don't think anyone being objective would think GS would win a series playing like they did against a healthy team of HOU's caliber.

The only concerning thing about this game I saw was how it was managed. Facing a similar situation McHale did the opposite of Pops. He put Harden to the grind for 43mins while having to playing undersized at times and basically only 8 deep. It was pushing for the win by keeping the best players on the floor as much as possible. If you consider yourself a championship caliber team then you pick and choose your battles because ultimately the regular season only matters in terms of the toll it takes on your players and the experience gained preparing for the playoffs.

So even if the Rockets had won this game I don't think being 7-0 was necessarily better than accepting the likelihood of being 6-1 and using the bench to rest other starters and build experience. Canaan has certainly benefited from the extra minutes he has gotten. It would just be nice had that happened without injury forcing the issue.

I love Cannan's game and Curry's defense isn't special but he howed attitude I haven't seen since we had Lowry. He may not be the distributor or bulldog Lowry was but he looks like a legit 6th man.

McHale should have used this game to see what we have with Dorsey. Instead, no minutes at all. Do you think he's sending Morey a message? I think he is. A not-so-subtle one.

The only question mark for me was why Daniels got no PT in the 2nd half. Yes, Terry was playing well, but we could have rested Harden. Again, McHale could have been testing Harden's stamina, but it was so obvious he wasn't moving anymore out there.

The Rockets have a 4 day break I believe so Im okay with Mchail plying Harden 43 mins even though a breather would have helped Harden in the 4th

Opposing fans probably have the same reaction when they have to watch Bill and Clyde. A lot of the local commentators are homers.
