I'd love to see HBO do a World War Z miniseries. That book is begging for one. I also like the pace this season. All other seasons, their fight with Terminus would last a half a season at least and probably closer to full. But three episodes in and it's over. Rick's not wasting any time anymore. You cross my family, you're dead. IMO I think he's found a good balance between compassionate humanity and monstrous rage. But he does seem to doubt himself a little about whether there is good left in him. And Glenn and Maggie staring in shock at what the group did to Terminus. Have they learned nothing from past experiences?!
First clunker of the season. Ah well. All the previous episodes were solid. Hopefully they return to form next week. Still don't know who the hell Daryl returned with last episode. That's disappointing.
Merely speculating for those overly sensitive to spoilers: I think it's the young Chris Rock guy. Probably met Daryl and Carol on the road while scuffling with the hospital people. Carol gets hurt and Daryl and Young Chris get away. Young Chris will proceed to tell them about Beth. Rick and the crew then go to rescue her. Again, just speculating.
I like that theory. Very plausible. It makes perfect sense and then of course they have to stage a rescue at the hospital which will bring them face to face with their newest enemy. Good call.
Yea sounds about right. Rick and team probably won't take action next week if the focus is on the D.C group. That sneak peek on Talking Dead was intense.
They said a lot of the same things over and over again, but I thought this episode was fine. There was some more world building. Beth, after being manipulated and abandoned, has been a bit hardened. Here's the thing: We are going to see the same stuff over and over again when it comes to survival, especially when there is no real plan to end the zombie apocalypse. how many ways can you make survival fresh? You gather supplies, find a safe place, and roost Even though this hospital mirrors the governor's town I don't think they are going to stay there long. whoa, creepy lollipop scene was creepy... After enduring some truly slow and awful seasons of the walking dead, I'm going to count this episode as good! that makes FOUR good to great episodes in a row! Count your blessings fellas, we could be in a barn, or walking along some train tracks right now.
the biggest revelation for me was that they were still near the atlanta city limits, I thought they be in one of the carolinas by now.
It was an ok episode but not nearly as good as the others this season. I don't like Beth much and the wife and I couldn't help but laugh every time she got slapped or punched.....
