Lin is getting killed by laker fans Maybe he will resign with Houston for a lesser deal.................
Kobe will kill any confidence Lin has left by the end of the year. He's going to be worthless before his next contract. I feel bad for him since he's a good kid. Too bad his fans suck ****.
I'm going to chalk this up to: -Jeremy Lin never plays well in his hometown (GS), I've yet to see him shoot well there.
There is always something to chalk it up to. It's funny how excuses are only valid for poor performances.
well yeah, because we've all seen him play well... its like when Kobe goes 3-10 with 5TO in the first half, do you bench him? no, cause you know his body of work. or when James Harden starts the season shooting 36% from the field... and so on and so forth...
Bad game for him and the Lakers. Lin's rim attacks were effectively neutralized by GSW packing in the paint with little concern for Lakers bigs shooting-- and he doesn't have the handles to navigate the crowd so he has a limited window to make his shoot/pass decisions. With Lin, you really just have to have shooters all around him for him to effective. The Laker's reliance on midrange Js are killing them. You just have to be unsustainably hot with these shots for a heavy reliance of them to even work semi-well. The Lakers had a couple of advantageous periods when first Jordan Hill and then Kobe got super hot in the 1st and 3rd quarters. But once they cooled off it's blowout city especially with GSW taking advantage of Lakers defense.
The Lin thread on Lakers Underground is highly entertaining. Reality has appeared to sink in there rather quickly.
feels like de javu things haven't changed for 2 years, one really good game followed by non existence games where he looks like he should be in the D league, and then one more good game where he gets everyones hopes up
I thought it would take longer, honestly i under appreciated how visceral laker fans are. Their position against player fans (except Kobe of course) has taken away any potential wars too. They ban them
I honestly think Lin doesnt know how bad he is. When he plays bad and then he's benched he has a oh well look on his face. Doesn't he know its his contract year. SHM.
C'mon man, you just compared Lin to Harden and Kobe. Kobe has put up years of great production, a bad game for him is an aberration. Same for Harden but to a lesser extent since he's still a young player. Lin, outside of one great stint as a NYK has been inconsistent. He needs to do SOMETHING consistently well, he doesn't. If he was consistently a good playmaker then he'd be a good player, but as it is some nights he plays like a chicken with his head cut off at the 1. This is his year to prove he can be a starter. I hope he can make the most of it because no one else on that team will provide anything. He's the team 2nd option...until Nick Young comes back...then he may never see the ball again.
LOL!! Fans yell at Curry to inflict more pain (Curry had been abusing Lin all night) ... "No Mercy. Its time to go to work. Jeremy Lin gets 20 Million for nothing." <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/wwG7hEHr--0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Another abysmal performance by Lin (his worst of the season which is saying something). It's mind numbing how anyone can talk about "potential" or "upside" without bursting into laughter. Like I mentioned before the Rockets were able to mask Lin's shortcomings. Now that he's actually asked to lead an offense and contribute a key role he has wilted badly; so much so that he doesn't even look like he belongs on an NBA court. As it stands now Lin is by far the worst starting pg in the league and it isn't close. It's unfortunate that he's running what is an already garbage Lakers team into the ground and not another Western Conference contender. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll trade him to Dallas so he can ruin their season.
