Yeah way too many edits. Kinda makes it unlistenable. I'm just using Shazam on my phone to book mark old songs I forgot about to put on the ipod. Plus they're already being repetitious with the playlist. Bones Thugs and Harmony have more than one good song guys.
Right. Crossroads is a good song, but come on now. Where is 1st of the month, Budsmokers Only, or Ghetto Cowboy?
A much needed format, BUT... Do they have to play Biggie every hour? Their rotation is really not that impressive. I hear a lot of the same songs when I'm in the car. You would think they would have a larger library, but they don't seem to play it. I've heard a few songs that aren't even hip-hop. I wish they'd play more from the late 80's and early 90's but they seem stuck on Biggie and Snoop Dogg. The format has so much potential, but they seem locked into a small rotation.
If they would let me make the radio playlist, the station would be so good. Really, all they have to do is copy the KDAY LA playlist, Backspin Radio (Sirius), and get the radio edits or do it themselves. There are way too many songs to choose from, even from Biggie and Snoop. They play like three songs only from each. You listen to KDAY and they are playing classic Snoop, not just the couple radio hits from him.
They play back that thing up even more times. It seems they play good songs some parts of the day and crappy ass songs other parts of the day. One or two of the djs should get the axe.
I'm already bored of this station. Between that Monday car commercial and playing To the Window to the Wall 85 times a day I just can't deal.
I'm sure it's all automated. Maybe we should start hitting them up on Twitter @Boom92Houston They have the right idea but are failing miserably at pulling it off. Maybe they couldn't afford a full playlist? I heard the same stuff again this morning.
Can someone tell them that a radio version of "How U Do That There" exists? They're playing an edited album version that's really annoying to listen to when every other word is backwards.
The same child support, DNA testing ads. Bad credit mortgage loan ads. DWI, drug offense lawyer ads. At least the people at 92 boom know their demographic. *cough*
