An interesting note is that Mobley's shooting 42% is not indicative of how he REALLY does -- he gets fouled a lot . . . this lowers his FG%, but he makes it up on the FT. I don't really know why there are so many Mobley haters. Sure, he's kindof cocky and he thinks he's really good, but so what. He's pretty darn good, and his cockyness is what makes him Cuttino Mobley. As fans, let's accept that. This begs that question that Pole and I have been asking for months. If you get fouled in the act of shooting, do you get credited with a shot attempt? I've always thought "no". So Mobley getting fouled a lot has no bearing on his FG %. I totally agree with Mr. Clutch. Mobley needs to be much less selfish, and pass the damn ball. He is great at one on one and breaking down the defense, but stevie francise is much better and the star of the team. Mobley would be a great help the team if he could pass the ball. There are some times when u shoot, and others when u need to pass the damn ball. He likes to dribble down till theres 4 seconds on the Shot Clock and then heave any shot that he can find. He should pass the ball when he gets double teamed and he doesnt.
