Don't put any stock into these stats. That was a clown game that was called out there. Without officiating help there's no way the Lakers score 80 points against ANY team in the NBA. They're gonna be a blight upon the legitimacy of the league for the entire season, because the NBA just cannot afford to let such a high profile team be THAT BAD.

I think Black and Papageorgio are going to be surprises for the Rockets this season. A little rough around the edges, but as the season progresses I predict that they will make significant contributions. Something about them that intrigues me.

He did everything else tonight. Very pleased with his game. Basketball isn't all about shooting

Kobe has a reputation to uphold and that's basically what he was doing there, in my opinion.

Kobe's a little b**** who got way more than he ever deserved. He was blessed with amazing big men his whole career & he's been a douchebag all his life. He buried his team with a contract that he also, didn't deserve.

Enough with this "I feel bad for Kobe".

Defending Byron Scott before the game & feeling bad for douchelords like Kobe? You guys have become softer than Dmo.

Only Laker that deserves any of our sympathy is Randle, other than that... **** Scott, **** the Fakers & **** Kobe.

Good win by the Rockets tonight, but the Lakers are one of the worst teams in the NBA. The Rockets still have one of the worst coaches and benches in the entire NBA. FTs, as we all know, will be an issue as well throughout the seaons and playoffs. On the positive side, Ariza is a definite upgrade over Parsons.

there is no Georgio but you meant Nikolaou obviously

Black is raw but developing fine

Papa is already an experienced pro, he was just off and has to get used to the NBA game and speed, 3 pt line, rules etc.....

They are not in the same category IMHO because Papa has been playing pro ball a long time

    "This was all on Kobe.

Kobe was wrong. Dwight should have knocked the hell out of him. You can't let people hit you. He should have knocked the hell out of him.

He mad because he'd love to have him."

    Defending Dwight? I'm shocked! :grin::eek:

I was surprised at KP's ability to grab a rebound & push it up court.

Nice win. The scrum with Kobe was great! Nice elbow Dwight. Too bad about Randle though. I hate to see that happen to any player but a youngster in his very first NBA game...that's just sad.

    Things I liked:

    Rockets defensive effort.
    Harden.
    Ariza.
    T.Jones rebounding effort.
    Jason Terry has life...
    Dwight's elbow to Kobe's jaw.

    Things I didn't like:

Team rebounding aside from Howard, Jones was non existent.
    Dmo. Nuff said
    Wolverine running the point offensively.
Daniels and Cannan shooting (hopefully tonight only)
Lack of shooting and playmaking inside the 3pt line aside from Harden/Howard

Good performance. One concern for the Rockets is that they seem to struggle defensively when Dwight Howard sat. To be expected to a degree but against a better opponent this can hurt them.

The Lakers are a mess. They lack size/talent defensively. They have some offensive players but little chemistry and no spacing. Stagnant very often. The no 3s offense is just dumb also.

And the injuries keep piling up. Already lost Nash, now Randle. And we also got Swaggy P, Ryan Kelly and others suffering various ailments so far.
