No. The Rockets gave up a pick in the upcoming 2015 draft.

What caused the injury? Did he bang legs against a Rocket?

It's like watching a bad sports version of Final Destination. As soon as someone is back from injury, someone goes out. Some curse on the Lakers going on with random people getting injured left and right and no one is immune.

Healthiest player on that team might just be Kobe.

That's injury is strange. Broken leg from just jumping without much contact?

Watch the replay again .. you can see his right leg break between the knee and the ankle when he lands on it

It is real brief and looks like it would be one of those compound fractures for a second

I wouldn't say anyone was "involved" .. just looked like a freak accident .That's got to be the easiest I've ever seen someone break a leg .

yeah sucks for the guy, but from the way he hit, it didn't seem so hard at all.. maybe he's just fragile prone?

Im already thinking about the Playoffs and this game was tough for Dwight. How is he going to stay on the floor is what I'm thinking. Gets called for fouls he didn't commit on a constant basis.....

It was a sporadic comment when I did not know it was a grave injury, thought it would be just bumping knees or minor sprain

Man I talk some mad ridiculous bull, but let this guy get a quick recovery. Long live the NBA and basketball. I'm rehabbing a torn acl repair right now so let's keep it classy Red Nation. LA can suck it, but come back soon, young man.

Your growth plates will shut down and your body usually keeps it symbiosis. I had really bad osgood slaughters in my knee when I was 13 that wasn't properly taken care of and I pretty much stopped growing after that.
