The fact that Lin is gone, his fans are gone, and yet some posters are still so angry is just hilarious.

Anyway, Lin seems to have some really nice words for us:

    Kid's a class act.

This game is starting to scare me. The Clippers got smashed on opening day last year against the Lakers and I'm afraid the Rockets might go into this game with the same attitude the Clippers did.

He's already been quoted heavily implying that he never got a fair shot in Houston. Which is bull****. No, he wasn't allowed and shouldn't have been allowed to run the show in favor of superior player in Harden, but he had his chances. We desperately needed someone to step up.

I loved his toughness when he was taking it to the rack, taking all those potshots from defenders, but alas he's out of town now.

You know what? I guess I shouldn't even be perturbed by it because he's just giving lip service to both Houston and LA now. If that's what he feels is best than that's whats its gonna be.

We can pretend this is just another game but let's be serious. It's a revenge game. Let's go out and make a statement that Houston will stand up.

Could be an interesting game - Lin could get some nice drives, Kobe some fadeway jumpers, the rookie Randle might out-muscle TJ on occasion. Possibly an "interesting" game, no chance of a "competitive" game. Lakers are a bunch of mid-tier players who haven't played together; Rockets have picked it up from their playoff level last year and are in great form. Should be a blowout.

He never lived up to his contract in Houston, where the negotiations were shady to begin with. Even with a season as a starter, he's come out to claim he didn't get a fair shake here.

It's a must win and a sure for Rockets.

Hopefully don't see many attacks at posters, no matter the result and how certain players play.

If Jordan Hill is out then the Lakers centers are Sacre,Boozer (might play the 5 also) and Davis. We should have no problem with their bigs right since we got Dwight,Jones and Papa.

Lin was on a short lease, but when you are jumping into the air, TO prone and playing nervous / scared from time to time, you kind of brought it on yourself no? I like Lin the person, one of the good guys and definitely one of the few humble people left in a league full of egos. Going through that period in NY, many would've lost it so respect the guy a lot. As a basketball player I disliked him very much, because of said flaws. That he blamed himself for the big mistakes in the playoffs is very telling, but glad he understood he's a hard worker and was not to blame solely for that.

Don't blame Lin. Blame the Rockets. Lin is in LA now, his confidence is up, he's driving, he's dishing, he's running the offense, he's doing his "stop and go" move to the basket which he only did like ONCE the whole time he was in Houston; Linsanity is back.

And all it took was the 2 point guards in front of him getting hurt.

I'd lower your expectations just a tad. He will be an ok player. Linsanity level of play and the numbers he put up in that stretch is asking a lot.

Attack the rim all day, the Lakers have no shotblocking presence and are incredibly small. Even TJones won't get outmuscled by that frontline. Wesley Johnson is not your typical lockdown defensive guy and won't keep Harden out of the lane. They have no post defenders to slow down Dwight, either. I really hope we crush them on both ends of the court.
