    You're selling that man short. He has really on played in 3 of the 5 preseason games and he had 16 points in 18 minutes against PHX, 13 points in 16 minutes against NO, and 14 points in 14 minutes tonight against ORL.

    If Nick Johnson is sent to the D-League at the start of the season, he won't be there for long. He and Canaan will play big minutes this year for our bench.

    I wasn't comparing Black to Asik by saying they are comparable players.

    It was more of an interesting factoid. That's all.

    All I did was post stats and you assume I'm trying to make some kind of a point. I wasn't, and you can't find anything in that thread where I said anything about Black and Asik being comparable players.

    Seems like Ish has been in the game mostly when teams have gone on big runs against us. He is a facilitator that doesn't get a lot of assists. If he isn't breaking down the defense and setting up scoring opportunities for other people most trips down the floor, he is a useless player. The offense has looked disjointed with him at the helm the past few games.

    And in those games, he's struggled a lot in the earlier quarters against better players... but magically scores in the 4th quarter. What's different? The 3rd stringers are in.

    I think Isaiah Canaan is copying Harden's game. All 3s and drives to the rim. He even has that endgame ISO 3 down pat LOL

    No they aren't lol Daniels, Papa, Dmo Terry and another big will round out the rotation, Maybe even Garcia, not these guys. Back up pg, will be Ish or Terry/Harden or trade not Canaan

    I'm not saying that. I'm just saying seeing him against 3rd stringers doesn't say much.

    If he's going to be the back-up point guard, he will be going against 1st and 2nd string guys. And he's never looked good at all against that kind of competition.
