Wright or Hopkins. In any given week I'd normally pick Hopkins, but I'm not so sure he can be trusted in prime-time games yet. If it were me, I'd play Wright as my boom-or-bust flex.
I want to pick up Buffalo's Defense this week, who should I drop. FYI in my league defenses score a tiny bit more than normal (5-7points). Doug Martin, Cincinnati, or Justin Hunter. Here's the rest of the RB/WR/DEF on my roster: Steve Smith Keenan Allen Kelvin Benjamin Ronnie Hilman DeMarco Murray LeSean McCoy Alfred Morris I have to do it tonight, because someone else in my league has made a claim for him so he'll get him if I wait too long....lol (I've got higher waiver priority)
Thinking about starting them too. Right now I have the Redskins locked in. Also thinking about taking a drastic measure and not starting a Defense at all. I need to pick up a kicker but don't really have any one I can drop. Maybe Asiata or Hyde (I also own Gore too though). My opponent's team is pretty stacked.. however he only got 2 points from the New England D/ST last night. I don't want to risk playing a D/ST and getting 0 or negative numbers anyways since there's such limited options out there right now.
Should have played Brady last night. Hopefull Megatron comes back and Stafford can put up some numbers.
^ Also want to add James Jones to that list. Nobody considers him a viable option, but he has straight up out-produced the other 2 WR's. If he had a good QB and had similar numbers everyone would be saying he is a WR-1/2 going forward.
I think Carr is decent enough as a passer for a rookie. He's been getting pretty good protection. Last week you saw what he could do with a viable running attack supporting him. There is still a huge mistrust on Raider receivers given they'd not had a stable QB situation in almost a decade. Jones is one of the few guys on that team who knows how to run routes consistently so that is why he sees a healthy number of targets and generally converts them. The Raiders will be playing from behind the rest of the season looking at the schedule. Jones and Andre Holmes both should see good numbers. Harvin has been a huge disappointment after they showcased him in the first Thursday Night game vs Green Bay. Since then he's been mostly a decoy. I'm not big on McKinnon this week against the #1 defense in Buffalo on the road. Sankey is supposedly getting the bulk of touches this week, for whatever thats worth.
That's tough. Harvin and McKinnon? Could Welker finally come alive? Sankey hasn't proven anything yet, but the stage is his right now. He blew his chance last week though. good luck! lol
he accepted and he threw in Dwayne Bowe (since he had to drop a guy anyway since it was a 4 for 3 trade) now just a matter to see if the league will vote it down (i am the commish set it to 1 day instead of default 2 prior to start of season) one guy already voted it no I doubt I'll keep Hyde or Bowe - for right now Gore is my Flex until Ryan Mathews gets healthy or Josh Gordon returns.
I think that this trade is a lot closer than you think. Andre Williams is the starting rb until Jennings comes back. Kaepernick isn't a terrible qb and Sanders is a PPR demon (assuming you're in a ppr league). Asiata is supposed to return to getting more touches in the Minnesota backfield too. I'm not sold on Gore / Hyde (I have them both myself) but Rodgers is definitely the best player out of everyone. Bowe is worthless to me. I'd cut him and see what else is on the waiver wire personally.
Agreed right now I am 6-0 in a 12 team league where top 6 make playoffs. There is one 5-1 and one 4-2 team (those two are playing each other though this weekend) and Kaep was probably my weakest starter. The league is PPR so I didnt find the trade to be too lopsided really - actually I asked the Rodgers owner that I wanted to make a trade for Rodgers and that I would offer up Kaep, one of my WRs and whoever else he wants on my bench I only placed a cannot touch on my two main RBs and TE. So the other guy constructed the trade - he needs more depth at the moment so it was a win for him. My Lineup after the bye weeks will be Rodgers Cobb/Marshall/Gordon Charles/Foster/Mathews/Gore Julius Thomas 1 FLEX (W/R/T) K/Def I usually stream but I I like having the choice of being able to choose either Cobb/Mathews/Gore as a flex during the playoffs (this is assuming Josh Gordon returns to Josh Gordon form from last year) If Gordon returns like last year I was going to have a glut at WR even if I plugged in a WR at my flex spot so I figured that right now was probably the best time to trade Sanders who has been a PPR beast and been my most consistent receiver but getting Rodgers is a big upgrade for myself compared to Kaep (but Kaep isnt bad either)
Well that makes more sense to me now. You upgraded at QB without taking a huge hit due to your depth at WR and potential FLEX players going into playoffs.
